The Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Karate team achieved extraordinary success at the international championship in Hungary, returning to IAU and Türkiye with medals.
The men’s Kata and Kumite teams were crowned European champions, while the women’s Kumite team secured the European runner-up title. Dicle Beyazıt and Gülşah Uyumaz won gold medals, and Kutluhan Duran, Kadir Furkan Genç, and Müşerref Özdemir brought great honor to both IAU and Türkiye with their achievements. IAU President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his pride in the team for bringing such immense joy and wished them continued success.
