
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın welcomed Eid al-Adha in his hometown Trabzon Maçka. Prof. Dr. Aydın performed the Eid prayer at the Maçka Central Mosque and exchanged Eid with the congregation after the prayer. Afterwards, he attended the Eid breakfast organized with prayers in the library he built in memory of his father, who had passed away.

With the first light of the Eid morning, Aydın visited the graves of his mother, father, grandfather, uncle and all his relatives who had passed away, reciting the Holy Quran and praying in the spiritual presence of his loved ones. Prof. Dr. Aydın stated that the memories of his loved ones are in his heart with a deep trace and a profound sense of connection, and said, “Nothing can fill the void created by their departure; but love and prayer will always make them close to us.”

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın wished that these blessed days would improve brotherhood, harmony and the spirit of unity and wished mercy to all the relatives who passed away.
