The August Board of Directors Meeting of the UFRAD Franchising Association was held at Istanbul Aydın University, hosted by UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.
During the meeting, the Association’s upcoming initiatives, projects aimed at contributing to the development of the franchise sector, national and international activities, and planned collaborations with industry stakeholders were discussed in detail.
One of the key agenda items was the preparation process for the UFRAD Brand Summit and Franchise Awards, scheduled to take place on September 10, 2026, at Taşyapı Şişli. In celebration of UFRAD’s 35th anniversary, participants exchanged views on the event programme, industry-related content, participant profile, and organisational arrangements.
The UFRAD Brand Summit will bring together leading franchise brands, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and representatives of the business community. Discussions also covered the panels, industry assessments, and networking opportunities planned as part of the event, which will provide a platform for fostering new business partnerships.
As part of the programme, the UFRAD Franchise Awards are planned to recognise brands and professionals who have distinguished themselves through their achievements, innovative initiatives, and contributions to the development of the franchise sector.
