IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın was guest of conversation of Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University and he gave a speech about “career planning”. Having conversation with students about life and career journey Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın shared that ““Career journey” is a field of ‘self-actualization’ for the person. The top of the pyramid in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is self-actualization and individual career building is the one of most important factors of this journey. When a ship’s course is uncertain, it doesn’t matter whether there is wind at sea or not. Same situation is true for the ‘career journey’. It is extremely hard to know at what stage in life at what point should be reached without making as clear a career planning as possible. Therefore, ‘setting clear goals’ is the key element in the road to success.”
Meeting with also Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Rector Prof. Dr. Mümin Şahin, Aydın exchanged ideas with him about the education. Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın mentioned the value that Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University added to the city, he congratulated the Rector Şahin. And he expressed his gratitude for invitation and their hospitality.
