February meeting of Istanbul Aydın University Aydın Policies Platform was held. The meeting, which was attended by Firuz Bağlıkaya, President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) and Oya Narin, President of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), discussed critical issues such as the future of tourism in Turkey, sustainable tourism investments, the transformation of the sector after the pandemic and the effects of digitalization on tourism. Solution proposals and strategies for the development of the sector were discussed in detail and issues such as sustainable growth, increasing global competitiveness and encouraging innovation-oriented investments were discussed.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of Istanbul Aydın University, stated that the meeting provided important conclusions for the sustainable growth of tourism in Turkey and thanked the guests for their precious contributions.
