Ekovitrin Medya Grubu Başkanı Kamuran Abacıoğlu, İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesini (İAÜ) ziyaret etti. İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın da Ekovitrin televizyonu ve dergisine özel röportaj verdi. Aydın, Abacıoğlu’na eğitim sektöründen, orman yangınları, doğal afetlere karşı bilinçlendirme çalışmaları gibi birçok konuya dair açıklamalarda bulundu.
Röportajda Aydın, öğrencilerin pandemi sürecinde eğitimde yaşadığı sorunlara dikkat çekti.
Doç.Dr. Mustafa Aydın, pandemi sürecinde 12. sınıf müfredatının çok ağır bir müfredat olduğunu vurgulayarak öğrencilerin tercih yaparken de puanlarını iyi değerlendirmeleri gerektiğini kaydetti.
“Bir Fidan Tüm Vatan” sloganıyla faaliyetlerine devam eden “Yeşil Vatan Platformu” hakkında da görüşlerini paylaşan Aydın, “Her ne kadar teknoloji ve bilim ilerlemiş olsa da yaşanan doğal afetler karşısında insanlığın hâlâ yeterli öngörüye sahip olmadığı ve gerekli tedbirleri alamadığını bir kez daha görmüş olduk.” dedi. Aydın ayrıca “Yeşil Vatan Platformu”na ilişkin açıklamasında “Yaşanan felaketlere seyirci kalmamak ve ülkemizi çevresel duyarlılık anlamında bir adım daha öteye taşımak için oluşturduğumuz ‘Yeşil Vatan Platformu’ ile yeni projeler, ulusal ve uluslararası konferanslar, kongreler, seminerler ve çalıştaylar düzenleyerek çevre konusunda farkındalık yaratmak en önemli amacımızdır.” ifadelerini kullandı.
Ekovitrin dergisinin kapağına taşıdığı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın röportajı, politik çevrelerin de dikkatini çekti. Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP) Genel Başkanı Devlet Bahçeli gençlerin önemli sorunlarından birinin üniversite sınavı olduğuna işaret ederek şöyle konuştu:
“Türk gençliği bizim has bahçemiz, istikbal güvencemizdir. Onlar Türk milletinin yüz akları, yıkılmaz akıl ve ahlak kaleleridir. Gençlerimize ne yapsak, ne versek, neyi temin etsek biliyorum ki eksik ve yetersizdir. Çünkü her şeyin en güzeline, en gelişmişine layıktırlar.”

Ekovitrin Media Group President Kamuran Abacıoğlu visited Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) and IAU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın gave a special interview to Ekovitrin television and magazine. Aydın made statements to Abacıoğlu on many issues such as education sector, forest fires and awareness raising activities against natural disasters.
In the interview, Aydın drew attention to the problems experienced by students in education during the pandemic process.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın emphasized that the 12th grade curriculum is a very busy curriculum during the pandemic process, and noted that students should consider their scores well when making a choice for a university.
Aydın also shared his views on the “Green Homeland Platform”, which continues its activities with the slogan “One Sapling, All Homeland”, and he said, “Even though technology and science have advanced, we have seen once again that people still do not have enough foresight and cannot take the necessary precautions in the face of natural disasters.” Aydın also emphasized in his statement on the “Green Homeland Platform”, “With the Green Homeland Platform ‘, which we have established in order not to be a bystander to the disasters and to take our country one step further in terms of environmental awareness, new projects, national and international conferences, congresses, seminars and workshops are organized to raise awareness about the environment. Creating awareness is our most important goal.” he said.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın’s interview, which is on the cover of Ekovitrin magazine, also attracted the attention of political circles. Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) President Devlet Bahçeli pointed out that one of the important problems of the youth is the university exam and said:
“Turkish youth is our unique garden, our guarantee for the future. They are the pride of the Turkish nation, the indestructible fortresses of reason and morality. I know that whatever we do, give or provide to our youth is incomplete and insufficient. Because they deserve the best and the most advanced of everything.”
