The name of the university, which was named the British University of Nicosia in its establishment, was mistaken for the “Cyprus Nicosia University” in Southern Cyprus and due to the effects reflected on the process, inspired by the aphorism of the Great Leader Atatürk “The Most Genuine Guide in Life is Science”, was changed to Cyprus Science University in 2016.
The majority of the academicians working in the faculties and departments of Cyprus Science University are experts in their fields, who have completed their academic studies in national and international universities, and subsequently worked or are currently working in Turkey’s best-known universities.
Cyprus Science University, which has experienced a rapid growth process following its establishment in 2013, started to accept students in 2014 and became a recognized and preferred higher education institution in the TRNC, Turkey, and abroad in a short time.
With its modern campus located in an area close to the port and the city center in Kyrenia, the University provides education in Turkish and foreign languages to international students from 42 different countries with its contemporary education curriculum.

Exchange agreements for our students in the Nursing Department between Johns Hopkins University, which is in the world ranking, are also carried out successfully. In addition to the exchange programs organized, conferences are also held following student exchange agreements with world-rank universities such as Harvard University and Stanford University.
Cyprus Science University welcomes international students from various countries through its bilateral exchange program on our campus. The university hosts students from Oslo Metropolitan University and Yessenov University through student exchange programs from countries such as Norway and Kazakhstan.

It is aimed to raise young people who will shed light on the future in many subjects such as dog shelters, visits to nursing homes, bird nests, and tree planting.

Great importance is given to practical studies as well as theoretical studies, thus, laboratories established for the needs of each department are open for our students to use 24/7. In this framework, the Clinical Skills Laboratory, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Laboratories, First and Emergency Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Laboratories, First and Emergency Aid Laboratories, Opticianry and Anatomy Laboratories, Mechatronics Laboratory, Electric-Electronics Laboratory, and Physics Laboratory are used by the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences and Health Services Vocational School, and Architecture Studios which are used by the student of the Faculty of Engineering, has been prepared to meet the educational needs, and these laboratories are developed in parallel with the changing needs of the education fields.
All of the classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with educational aids such as smart boards and projection devices and offer ergonomic features to students in terms of lighting and seating arrangement.
