Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the Türkiye–Algeria Business Forum held in Ankara as part of the official visit of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Türkiye.

The forum, attended by Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat and Algerian Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion Kamel Rezig, focused on economic and commercial relations between the two countries.

Following the forum, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın met with Minister Kamel Rezig to discuss opportunities for strengthening commercial, economic, and academic cooperation between Türkiye and Algeria.

The DEIK Türkiye–Europe Business Councils Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.

During the meeting, the strategic importance of Türkiye’s EU full membership process and university–business cooperation were discussed.

The February Board of Directors Meeting of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.

During the meeting, the activities of the previous period were comprehensively reviewed. In light of global economic developments, discussions focused on the new year’s objectives, priority areas of work and strategic planning. Participants also exchanged views on shifts in international trade balances and the steps that could contribute to Türkiye’s foreign economic vision.

The 2025 Elective Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Business Councils of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and the Commercial Diplomacy Awards Ceremony were held with the participation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın emphasized that commercial diplomacy today gains meaning not only through numerical indicators but also through vision, trust, and a long-term strategic perspective. Stating that countries global strength is measured by the depth and sustainability of the commercial relationships they establish, he noted that DEIK’s approach makes significant contributions to Türkiye’s position in the international economy.

At the December Board of Directors Meeting of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), assessments were made regarding the accurate analysis of changing global trade dynamics, while strategic approaches to strengthen the competitiveness of the business world were discussed.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın emphasized the importance of efforts that facilitate Türkiye’s access to new markets, reinforce its international influence, and consolidate its position in the global economy. It was noted that activities conducted with the objective of integrating the country’s production, investment, and trade capacity with the world would continue with determination.

The December Executive Council Meeting of the Foreign Currency Earning Services Working Group of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) was held under the hosting of Mr. Firuz Bağlıkaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB).

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın shared his evaluations on strengthening the global position of the services sector, increasing export potential, and enhancing international cooperation. Strategic priorities to boost Türkiye’s competitiveness in service exports, sectoral opportunities, and future objectives were discussed comprehensively by the participants.
