Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın who is visiting the earthquake zone whenever possible, mobilize to support the earthquake victim, visited the earthquake zone again with İstanbul Aydın University support team.

Starting a mobilization in Gaziantep Nurdağı region with the encouragement and guidance of Coordinator Governor Kemal Çeber as Anatolia Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and Istanbul Aydın University (IAU), Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın after visiting container living areas and educational and social facilities of IAU in the region, visited Mesthüyük, Gedikli and Çakmak villages which were badly damaged by the earthquake.

Hosted by Coordinator Governor Kemal Çeber, meeting with the İAÜ support team Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın presented his thanks to Coordinator Governor Kemal Çeber for important works in the region, in his speech at the iftar meal. In addition, he shared his pleasure for fruitful works in the region with İAÜ team that came together upon the iftar event.

International Association of University Presidents Board Meeting was held. In the online meeting, university presidents and representatives from all over the world attended.

Previous term activities of International Association of University Presidents, of which Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın is also a board member, were evaluated and ideas on planning works for the next period were exchanged.

Cyprus Science University (CSU) Honorary President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited the university. Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited the campus of Cyprus Science University, the social foundations-complex and additional campus buildings that continue the construction works.

After that, Aydın came together with the students of Cyprus Science University and held an general evaluation meeting with the academic and administrative directors.

THE 25TH SESSION OF “COMMERCIAL COUNSELOR INTERVIEWS” OF HİB WAS HELD

The 25th session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 12th April 2023 with the theme of “France”.

The online program, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with presentations of Paris Commercial Principal Consultant Murat Gören, Paris Commercial Counselor Gonca Köksal Ensari, Lyon Commercial Attaché Umay Göksu and Marseille Commercial Attaché İnan Yıldırımdal.

Including detailed information on service export in France in the presentations; France economy and foreign trade data, service sector data, business culture in France and sector subjects discussed. After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

Service Exporters’ Association 2023 Ordinary General Meeting was held with the participation of member companies on 11th April 2023 Tuesday in International Trade Complex.

In the meeting, HİB President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat and HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made their opening speeches. After that, information on the activities of the association and service export data were presented. Discussing the agenda items of the assembly, members’ ideas were received.

İstanbul Aydın University Traditional İftar Meal was held at T Block Atrium hosted by İAÜ President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın.

IAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli, Vice-Rectors, Deans, Heads of Departments, administrative staffs, IAU alumni, student clubs, students and international students, BİL Colleges, UFRAD members, TSSD Board Members, City Council and KAGED members attended the iftar.

IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, in his speech made at the iftar meal which attracted intensive attention, said that “Thanks to God for being together again with you, our friends in traditional iftar meal on the 20th anniversary of our university. As IAU, we are a very strong family. I would like to congratulate your Ramadan whose 15th day we left behind today, thank all guests for honoring us by accepting our iftar invitation and wish you all a Happy Ramadan.”

UFRAD 16TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY WAS HELD

Turkish Frachising Association 16th General Assembly was held at Istanbul Aydın University under the presidency of UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın. In the meeting, evaluations on annual reports and budget planning were made. After that, the new period of directors and supervisory board selections were made.

After the presentation of UFRAD Communication Coordinator İrem Arman, Council Committee and Board Members made their speeches. President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made the following determinations in his speech: “UFRAD has been supporting the transfer of the dynamics of successful brands to the entrepreneurial spirit since 1991. It contributes to being guided our country’s investors toward branding, encouraging local brands to gain a place in international markets and has a chance to compete. I would like you to know, as UFRAD, we are always with our brands, as we have been up to now. We are your biggest defender and stronger supporter. Together, we will print with golden letters the Turkish brand’s names in the world markets. Hereby, I would like to congratulate the new directors and supervisory board members who were assigned to the 16th Ordinary General Assembly and wish them continued success.”

In the meeting, evaluations on annual report and budget planning were made. After, the new period of directors and supervisory board selections were made.

After the speeches of Council Committee and Board Members, President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın said “I would like to thank all my friends with whom we have been fighting together with great devotion since 1999 for the health of our society, for our youth to have clean tomorrows and for the future of our country. I would like to congratulate the new directors and supervisory board members who were assigned to the 23rd Ordinary General Assembly.”

Including detailed information on service export in Greece in the presentations; the main economic outlook of Greece, Greece service export, Türkiye-Greece bilateral service trade, sector analysis, investment incentives in Greece subjects discussed. After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

HİB ENLARGED EDUCATION SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING WAS HELD
