As part of the 8th Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE), a networking event was organized with 34 representatives from 13 distinguished universities of Pakistan.

A delegation of experts from Pakistan’s higher education sector attended the event held at the Pakistan Pavilion at the EURIE 2023 fairground, chaired by the Pakistan Private Universities Association President Prof. Dr. Chaudry Abdul Rehman, and EURAS&EURIE President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın. It was discussed what kind of steps could be taken to further strengthen the strong ties under the umbrella of the Eurasian Universities Union. Important decisions were taken in many fields such as academic exchange programs and collaborations by meeting with university representatives participating in EURIE from different parts of the world.

EURAS&EURIE President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, Educanada Authorities who had a booth in the 8^th EURIE, and Consul General of Canada Tara Scheurwater came together at the lunch.

In the meeting, the projects related to academic collaborations and exchange programs were discussed and evaluated. At the end of the meeting Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın said “There are 2 countries Canada and Turkey have a success story in international education. We should share our experiences with each other about this subject. We always care to cooperation with Canadian institutions, we expect you to attend EURIE every year.” and he thanked the all participators.
