Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın held a productive meeting with the international student representatives of Istanbul Aydın University to assess future projects. During the meeting, students’ opinions and suggestions were heard, and ideas that could contribute to the university’s development were discussed.
The meeting, which brought together different cultures and diversity, reaffirmed the determination to take stronger steps on the international stage. The meeting concluded with gratitude expressed to all the representatives for their valuable contributions.
The board meeting, attended by the executive team of Istanbul Aydın University, was chaired by President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. During the meeting, the activities of 2024 were evaluated, and the goals for 2025 were discussed in detail. The meeting emphasized the commitment to further enhance the achievements of 2024, reach a stronger international position through new projects, and continue efforts to provide higher quality education to students.
With the vision of being a leader in education, Istanbul Aydın University plans to take significant steps to achieve its 2025 goals. Gratitude was expressed to all team members who contributed to the meeting, and it was reiterated that the university is moving forward with strong motivation for the future.
The UFRAD Franchising Association’s Board Meeting for December held at Istanbul Aydın University, hosted by UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. During the meeting, a general evaluation of 2024 was conducted, and the sectoral goals and projects for 2025 were discussed in detail.
In meetings with prospective members, the expectations and goals of brands wishing to join the UFRAD family were heard, and the first steps were taken toward building strong collaborations. The meeting emphasized the determination to continue efforts to advance the franchising sector both nationally and internationally.
The UFRAD Strategic Plan Workshop, organized by the UFRAD Franchising Association to address current issues in the sector, discuss solutions, and create a strategic roadmap for the future, was held under the leadership of UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and hosted by Istanbul Aydın University.
Before the workshop, a committee meeting with moderators was held to evaluate the day’s program in detail, and final preparations were made to ensure that the sessions would be productive and goal-oriented. An innovative and solution-focused program was created to address the sector’s dynamics in the best possible way.
In his opening speech, UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın highlighted the place and importance of the franchising sector in the national economy. Sharing the main objectives of the workshop, Aydın emphasized the significance of critical topics for the sector, such as expansion into global markets, digitalization, sustainability, proper brand positioning, and effective management of legal processes.
Throughout the workshop, experts from the sector, academics, and stakeholders engaged in intensive and productive exchanges of ideas. In each session, the current state of the franchising sector, challenges faced, and future opportunities were discussed in depth. The sharing of sectoral experiences and the proposals formed through different perspectives were seen as an important step toward making the franchising sector more sustainable and competitive.
The December Board Meeting of the Service Exporters’ Association (HIB) was held with the participation of Mr. Tarık Sönmez, General Director of International Service Trade at the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and Mr. Fatih Aydın, Deputy General Director.
During the meeting, steps required to enhance the international competitiveness of service exporters were thoroughly evaluated. Strategies were discussed in line with the sector’s priority needs and future goals. It was emphasized that efforts to increase the service sector’s contribution to the national economy would continue with determination.
The December Board Meeting of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) was convened.
During the meeting, new projects aimed at further strengthening cooperation in the field of higher education were discussed, and strategic goals for the upcoming period were determined. A strong commitment was expressed to support universities in enhancing the quality of education, fostering internationalization, and advancing an innovation-driven vision.
At the conclusion of the meeting, EURAS President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın extended his gratitude to all participants for their contributions.
The December Executive Board Meeting of the Küçükçekmece City Council was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of the City Council.
During the meeting, key agenda items regarding the district’s social, cultural, and environmental development were discussed, and a roadmap for 2025 projects was outlined. Plans for the upcoming year included a wide range of initiatives, from activities to raise environmental awareness and strengthen social solidarity to educational and cultural programs for youth and sustainability-focused actions.
All members who contributed to this process were sincerely thanked, and a strong commitment was expressed to build a better future for Küçükçekmece through collective wisdom and solidarity.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of Istanbul Aydın University, visited the IAU Research and Application Campus with his team to conduct a significant field study. Team members achieved important developments contributing to the university’s innovative vision in education, aiming to train future leaders.
Following this visit, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and his delegation met with Çatalca Mayor Mr. Erhan Güzel. The meeting was productive, focusing on projects and cooperation opportunities for the region’s development. Gratitude was expressed to Mayor Güzel for his warm hospitality and valuable contributions.
The “Health in Sports Summit,” organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences and TEKMER entrepreneurs GOA TALKS, took place with the participation of many prominent figures from the sports world, as well as academic experts in the field. The opening speeches were delivered by IAU President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Tanju Besler. In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “Sports and health are two fundamental dynamics that shape and enrich human life. However, we believe that these two important areas should not only be considered separately but should be approached holistically with a multidisciplinary understanding. In this regard, the main theme of our summit focuses on supporting athletes and sports in appropriate and sustainable conditions. I would like to thank all our team members and esteemed guests who contributed to the realization of this valuable organization.”
During the summit, topics such as ‘Multidisciplinary Approach in Basketball Teams,’ ‘Manual Therapy for Athletes,’ ‘Measurement Methods in Athletes,’ and ‘Multidisciplinary Approach in Football Teams’ were discussed in detail. Well-known figures such as Hidayet Türkoğlu, President of the Basketball Federation, former referee Erman Toroğlu, football player Aytaç Kara, and former basketball players Semih Erden and Sinan Güler also attended the summit. The summit, which attracted significant interest from students, offered participants an exceptional experience with innovative approaches to sports and health, along with inspiring insights from experts.
Istanbul Aydın University President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın visited the İAÜ Research and Application Campus in Silivri. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Aydın was briefed on the “Outdoor Sports and Archery” course offered by the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Istanbul Aydın University at the Silivri campus.
Prof. Dr. Aydın stated, “This course not only provides students with an educational opportunity but also offers them an unforgettable experience. It is truly gratifying to see that activities like these contribute greatly to our students’ personal development, as well as their academic success. The practice of archery, a sport that requires focus, patience, and discipline, in an environment surrounded by nature, along with nature walks and other sporting activities, allows our young people to experience once again the importance of teamwork and sharing in nature.”
