The Executive Board meeting of the Education Services Committee of the Service Exporters Association (HIB) was conducted. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Vice Chairman of the HİB Board of Directors, participated in the meeting. During the session, strategic steps and plans were outlined. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “We focused on innovative approaches in education services and projects that will strengthen our position in the international market. Our committee is tirelessly working to enhance quality in education and strengthen our effectiveness internationally. We are fully committed to progress and growth!”
Istanbul Aydın University President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın held a productive meeting with Marcello Scalisi, the Director of the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED). The discussion focused on collaboration and development opportunities among universities in the Mediterranean region. Following the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “As Istanbul Aydın University and Cyprus Science University, we will continue to expand our international education and research networks.”
IAU July Board Meeting was held with the executive board of Istanbul Aydın University. During the meeting, the ongoing efforts for the 2023-2024 academic year were thoroughly reviewed, and new projects for the upcoming term were discussed. Additionally, educational strategies were updated, and measures to enhance student and academic success were determined. In this context, IAU President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “We once again emphasize our commitment to advancing our university in line with our innovative educational approach and high-quality standards. With our vision of striving for excellence in education, we will continue to progress each day and provide our students with the best possible education.”
Istanbul Aydın University President Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited the IAU Admission Center. During his visit, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın remarked, “Our IAU Admission and Promotion Centers are achieving great success once again this year and setting new records. Providing the best guidance to prospective university students and helping them choose the most suitable fields has always been our priority. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our dedicated professors, valued colleagues, and volunteer students who have worked tirelessly during this process. We are here to ensure your satisfaction and help you make a successful university choice. We are always by your side and are happy to support you!”
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın participated in the “Delightful Istanbul” program, which has been successfully ongoing since 2014, alongside 200 international students from 34 countries this year.
Following the event, participants gathered for the traditional group photo. Istanbul Aydın University President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “We thank all our professors and colleagues who contributed to this program, which combines cultural richness and academic success in the unique atmosphere of Istanbul! As the IAU family, we are delighted to share this unique experience with our students.”
The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, and his wife, Sibel Tatar, hosted a reception to mark the 50th anniversary of the July 20 Peace and Freedom Day. The event took place at Art Istanbul Feshane and was attended by Fatma Nur Aydın, President of Cyprus Science University, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of Istanbul Aydın University (IAU). Following the reception, they offered prayers for all the martyrs.
The Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Karate team achieved extraordinary success at the international championship in Hungary, returning to IAU and Türkiye with medals.
The men’s Kata and Kumite teams were crowned European champions, while the women’s Kumite team secured the European runner-up title. Dicle Beyazıt and Gülşah Uyumaz won gold medals, and Kutluhan Duran, Kadir Furkan Genç, and Müşerref Özdemir brought great honor to both IAU and Türkiye with their achievements. IAU President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his pride in the team for bringing such immense joy and wished them continued success.
The 2023-2024 academic year graduation ceremony of Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) was held on June 29-30, 2024. The ceremony was attended by IAU Deputy President Dr. Halit Fatih Aydın, IAU Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın, administrative and academic staff, parents, and graduating students.
IAU President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, who attended the ceremony online, addressed the graduates with the following message: “As we complete the 2023-2024 academic year, we are all experiencing the indescribable pride and happiness of presenting our 19th graduates today. As the IAU Family, we have come together to celebrate the graduation of our esteemed graduates, each of whom is a success story. Dear young people, our future leaders! You are not only the leaders of today but also of tomorrow. We believe that with the knowledge, skills, and values you possess, you will make great contributions to our society. We are confident that you will overcome any challenges you may face in this new chapter of your lives. Please know that as IAU, we will always be by your side and our doors will always be open to you. Our university will always remain your home, and we will be there for you whenever you need us. Following your successes and supporting you in your new journeys will be a source of great happiness and pride for us. Dear graduates, as we send you off into the future like fireflies, I wish you all success and happiness. May your paths be bright, and may God bless you. I kiss you all on the forehead and say that we are so proud of you.”
In this context, over the course of two days, more than 6,500 IAU students experienced the joy of graduation. At the end of the ceremony, the 2023-2024 academic year graduates of IAU took their first steps into their new lives. IAU Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın stated, “Today, as the IAU Family, we are experiencing the excitement of sending off our 19th graduates with great pride and happiness. On the second day of our graduation ceremony, we share the joy of graduating the future leaders, innovative thinkers, and successful professionals. We congratulate all our graduates and wish them a future full of success. May your future be bright!” Subsequently, the graduation ceremony, which consisted of four sessions, concluded with great enthusiasm from the IAU students.
The 2023-2024 graduation ceremony of Cyprus Science University was held. The ceremony was attended by the Turkish Minister of Trade, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, the Minister of Finance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Dr. Özdemir Berova, the Minister of Economy and Energy of the TRNC, Olgun Amcaoğlu, the Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade, Mustafa Tuzcu, and Konya MP Orhan Erdem. Before the graduation ceremony, the Minister of Trade met with the administrative and academic staff and was provided with detailed information about the university. Subsequently, the top-ranking student was awarded for their achievements.
Honorary President of Cyprus Science University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, stated: “As Cyprus Science University, we are once again experiencing the rightful pride of having completed 11 years, growing stronger each day, and raising qualified young people who are considered global citizens with international education. Our 9th graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year is being held at the Kyrenia Amphitheater with the esteemed presence of the Speaker of the TRNC Parliament, Zorlu Töre, and the TRNC Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Prof. Dr. Erhan Arıklı. Our goal is not only to achieve academic success but also to nurture individuals who are sensitive to the problems of their geography, the world, and all humanity, and who understand the importance of unity, solidarity, and cooperation. Thankfully, we are succeeding in this. With our love for our homeland, nation, and students, we are meticulously preparing our children for the future in the light of science.” He then expressed his gratitude for their participation and support at the graduation ceremony.
President of the UFRAD Franchising Association, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, was featured as the cover guest in the second issue of Kollektmag Magazine. In his interview, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın provided comprehensive information about UFRAD’s position in Turkey, its mission, activities, and contributions to the economy. He talked about the efforts of UFRAD Franchising Association to support the development and growth of the franchising sector in Turkey. Subsequently, he mentioned the association’s wide range of activities, including the education, consultancy, and support services provided to entrepreneurs and international collaborations.
Additionally, he shared his predictions and strategic goals for the future of the franchising sector in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “The mission of UFRAD is to ensure that the franchising system is correctly understood and applied in Turkey, to raise the standards in the sector, and to create a sustainable growth environment.” In this context, he emphasized the association’s vision and the value it adds to the sector.
