The November meeting of the Education Services Committee of the Service Exporters Association (HİB) was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Vice President of HİB and President of the Education Services Committee.Strategic roadmaps were established to enhance the global visibility of the country’s strength in education.

The Service Exporters’ Association (HIB) convened its November Board Meeting under the chairmanship of HIB President Şekib Avdagiç, with Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and Salih Zeki Çakır, as well as other board members in attendance.

The November Executive Board Meeting of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Foreign Exchange Earning Services Working Group was held under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, DEİK Board Member and President of the Working Group.The meeting focused on strategic steps and projects aimed at enhancing Turkey’s foreign exchange earning service sector to support sustainable economic development.
Discussions centered on increasing Turkey’s competitiveness in global markets, expanding the contribution of service exports to the economy, and advancing the sector on the international stage through new collaborations and projects.
Participants shared valuable insights and assessments, contributing to the formulation of a strategic roadmap for the sector. The meeting underscored a shared commitment to fostering unity and achieving economic goals, with the ultimate aim of positioning Turkey’s service sector as a global benchmark.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Honorary President of Cyprus Science University, participated in the “Red Crescent in Cyprus” conference alongside university students, held as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent. The conference attracted significant attention, featuring discussions on the humanitarian aid activities and the vital role the organization has played on the island over the past half-century.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including TRNC Minister of Interior Dursun Oğuz, Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia Yasin Ekrem Serim, Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent President Sezai Sezen, and Turkish Red Crescent President Prof. Dr. Fatma Meriç Yılmaz. The speakers emphasized the Red Crescent’s services to society and its contributions to fostering social solidarity.
In his remarks following the conference, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that the Red Crescent is not merely a humanitarian organization but also a symbol of community solidarity, sharing, and mutual support in challenging times. The discussions underscored the mission of the Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent to enhance societal well-being and its enduring fraternal ties with the Turkish Red Crescent.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to all those who have contributed to the Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent’s honorable 50-year journey and wished for this spirit of unity and brotherhood to persist eternally. The program offered an opportunity to better understand the history, mission, and societal contributions of the Red Crescent. The 50th anniversary of the Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent was celebrated with a powerful message of solidarity.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Honorary President of Cyprus Science University (CSU), paid a significant visit to the university, conducting important observations. During his visit, Prof. Dr. Aydın toured the newly completed C Block, evaluating its functionality and design. He shared his observations and provided recommendations regarding the student-friendly features of the structure.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Aydın visited the construction site of the new library, currently under development, and received updates on the project’s progress from the authorities. He highlighted that once completed, the library would significantly enhance the university’s capacity for information access and research, serving as a valuable resource for both students and academic staff.
Prof. Dr. Aydın also held a meeting with the university’s administrative staff and faculty deans. The discussion focused on improving educational quality, future projects, and the overall development of the institution. Emphasizing the dedication of the university’s academic and administrative teams, he noted that their joint efforts would strengthen the university as an educational institution. He underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to advance the university’s vision and mission.
The visit was regarded as a pivotal step in reinforcing the university’s current structure and setting strategic goals for the future.
Istanbul Aydın University hosted Trabzon Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Kaya, Beşikdüzü Mayor B. Cahit Erdem, Büyükçekmece Mayor Dr. Hasan Akgün, and Küçükçekmece Mayor Kemal Çebi.
During the visit, a comprehensive discussion was held on the contributions of local governments to education, ways to establish more effective collaborations with universities, and the development of community-oriented projects. The meeting emphasized how the university’s academic expertise could address the needs of local administrations and the importance of taking concrete steps for the future of young people.
Istanbul Aydın University President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to the esteemed mayors for their visit and highlighted their aim to create a strong synergy through collaborative efforts for societal progress.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and MEDICALPARK Board Chairman Muharrem Usta visited Trabzon. During their visit, they met with Trabzon Governor Aziz Yıldırım, where they had a productive discussion on projects and potential collaborations that could contribute to the region.
Later, they visited Trabzon Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç, and discussed the city’s future and sustainable development goals. The importance of collaboration for the city’s growth was emphasized. Prof. Dr. Aydın expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown during their visit.
The October Board of Directors meeting of the UFRAD Franchising Association was held at Istanbul Aydın University, hosted by UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.
During the meeting, the general evaluation of the association’s activities was conducted, and discussions took place on new membership processes, sectoral developments, and the association’s strategic plans for the future. The members exchanged views on evaluating industry dynamics, providing more value to members, and taking strong steps in the franchising sector. Following this, existing projects were reviewed and plans for upcoming initiatives were discussed.
The EURAS General Assembly Meeting was held at Istanbul Aydın University (IAU). During the meeting, university rectors and representatives from different countries gathered to discuss global education strategies, inter-university collaborations, and future projects. Topics such as student exchange programs, joint research projects, and innovative education solutions were discussed, emphasizing the commitment to expanding academic networks and enhancing education quality. Following the meeting, a cooperation protocol was signed between Istanbul Aydın University and the Tajikistan International Tourism and Entrepreneurship University, a member of EURAS.
Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Rector Prof. Dr. Cafer Caferov also participated in the EURAS General Assembly Meeting. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated, “We were very pleased to host them at our university on the occasion of the EURAS General Assembly Meeting. We had valuable discussions to strengthen our bilateral collaborations and develop joint projects in education. We thank the rector for this meaningful visit and hope that academic collaborations between our two countries will be further enhanced.”
A gala dinner event was held prior to the General Assembly Meeting with the members of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS).
During the event, discussions were held regarding future projects and collaborations. The focus was on creating more student and academic exchange programs between universities, developing joint research projects, and advancing digital transformation in education. Furthermore, there was an exchange of ideas on contributing to society through social responsibility projects and encouraging innovation within universities.
