Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the exhibition titled “Those in Anatolia: Treasures Behind the Doors” held at TÜRKEVİ in New York City, USA, hosted by Mr. M. Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.  Prof. Dr. Aydın stated that TÜRKEVİ, located directly opposite the UN Headquarters, is a source of great honor both for its magnificent physical structure and for the waving of our glorious flag.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, hosted by DEİK, Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Industry and Technology M. Fatih Kacır, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, former Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, and representatives from the business world at the 17th Turkey Investment Conference held at the New York Public Library.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, together with DEİK President Mr. Nail Olpak, visited the Türken Foundation, one of the proud achievements. Prof. Dr. Aydın expressed his gratitude to the president and team of the foundation, which carries out important and beneficial work on behalf of our country.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the 3rd Turkish-American Business Forum organized by ASKON USA in New York on the same day. This important meeting, attended by the former Prime Minister of Türkiye, Mr. Binali Yıldırım, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Mr. Celal Adan, Minister of Trade, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and distinguished businesspeople from our country, discussed Türkiye’s global vision and roadmap for the business world. Prof. Dr. Aydın expressed his gratitude to ASKON President Mr. Orhan Aydın for his gracious hospitality and inspiring presentations.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the event hosted by the New York Türken Foundation. The program, which was also attended by Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, and Ambassador to Washington Sedat Önal, included a presentation on the activities and future perspective of MÜSİAD America. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his hope for the future of these important efforts for Turkish-American relations and wished them success.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın met with Dr. Alina Pap, Academic Director of International Partnerships at Pace University in New York, and Dr. Yegin Genç, Faculty Member of the Information Systems Department, who also coordinates the 4+1 Double Degree programs with Istanbul Aydın University.

During the meeting, opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships between the universities and develop new areas of collaboration were discussed.

Prof. Dr. Aydın thanked his guests for their hospitality and valuable contributions, expressing his hope that strong academic ties would open new horizons for students on an international scale.

On the third day of TEKNOFEST, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın met with Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). He expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Özvar for his support to young people and universities.

Prof. Dr. Aydın also met with Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK. He expressed his gratitude to the President of TÜBİTAK for his leading role in Türkiye ‘s science and technology vision, his inspiration to young people, and his work that adds value to the country’s future.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın also met with Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, who attaches great importance to education, training, and R&D activities, on the third day of TEKNOFEST. Minister Kacır visited the Istanbul Aydın University stand and received information about the projects. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to Minister Kacır for his powerful support for young people and his visionary leadership in guiding the National Technology Initiative.

On the third day of TEKNOFEST, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, who also attended the launch of the robot named “ADA” developed by young entrepreneurs from Istanbul Aydın University, said, “While sharing the excitement of our young people at TEKNOFEST2025, we also met our university’s new companion,”ADAMIZ.” ADA introduces science and technology more closely with our students, showing everyone the innovative face of Istanbul Aydın University.”

When the energy of our young people, the vision of our university, and the excitement of TEKNOFEST come together, this is the beautiful picture that comes out,” he said, expressing his proud and excitement.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın did not leave the students and entrepreneurs of Istanbul Aydın University who participated in TEKNOFEST Istanbul, the world’s largest space and technology festival, alone. Expressing his pride in the young people’s belief in turning their dreams into reality at TEKNOFEST, the strongest stage of the national technology initiative, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın said, “As Istanbul Aydın University, participating in TEKNOFEST and contributing to our national technology initiative is a great source of pride for us. Every step we take gives us great hope as we see the level our country has reached in science, technology, and innovative ideas. Here, there are not only competitions; there is also the vision and determination to build the future of a nation.”

This spirit is not only for today; it is also the strongest guarantee of our goals for 2053 and 2071. We are committed to continuing on our path to make tomorrow stronger and brighter together with the children of our beloved nation. In his speech, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, described the TEKNOFEST generation as the key actors of the Turkish Century. As educational institutions, we will continue to support our young people’s dreams and projects, contributing to their development as competent individuals in the fields of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The projects developed by our young people are the most beautiful demonstration of determination, science, and innovation. I sincerely thank all my team members who worked hard during this process and our students who made us proud. ”  He once again highlighted how important it is to support young people for the bright future of our country.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın also stated that a strong education system and the contribution of education are the greatest strengths of the National Technology Initiative. “Our young people’s projects are a magnificent example of success born from the combination of science, determination, and creativity,” said Prof. Dr. Aydın, emphasizing that thanks to the guidance of universities, young people’s dreams are transformed into technology and their ideas into solutions for the future. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın said that Türkiye is taking firm steps toward becoming a country with a say in technology through its youth and universities.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the opening of THY’s sixth flight destination in Spain, the Seville route. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that THY’s decision to launch daily direct flights from the historic Spanish city of Seville to Istanbul is a strategic development that will create new opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural cooperation between Türkiye and the Andalusia region. He expressed his great pleasure at witnessing this historic moment during the first flight and opening ceremony. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın thanked Victor Gonzalez, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Foreign Affairs of Andalusia, for his contributions, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines, for bringing this visionary step to life, and the THY family, wishing the flights success. Prof. Dr. Aydın emphasized that the opening ceremony, attended by the Turkish Minister of Transport and the Chairman of THY, was held at a level befitting our country and making us all proud. He wished the Seville route success for THY and our country, expressing his hope for “many more records.”

The UFRAD September Board of Directors Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. Hosted by Mr. Bülent Bülbüloğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cettia Hotel, the meeting covered activities carried out to date, new period events, membership evaluations, and preparations for the upcoming Franchise Istanbul Expo Fair. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to Mr. Bülent Bülbüloğlu for hosting the meeting.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the MÜSİAD High Advisory Council Meeting. At the meeting, Trade Minister Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat presented a guiding perspective for the business world with his presentation on trade, exports, production, and industry. The meeting also addressed critical topics in detail, such as strengthening trade in global competitive conditions and new market opportunities, strategic incentives and sector-based support to increase exports, efficiency and technology-focused transformation in production processes, strengthening industrial infrastructure, and supporting domestic production.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to Mahmut Asmalı, President of the MÜSİAD High Advisory Board, and Burhan Özdemir, President of MÜSİAD, for their excellent organization and hospitality.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın congratulated the Kür Şad 40 Team, affiliated with the Istanbul Aydın University Aytech UAS Club, for their third-place finish at TEKNOFEST 2025 Istanbul, the world’s largest aviation and space festival.

Expressing his pride in the Kür Şad 40 Team’s achievement, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın said, “Our Kür Şad 40 Team, affiliated with the IAU Aytech UAS Club, achieved great success by placing third in the TEKNOFEST International UAV Competition. This proud result is the most beautiful demonstration of our young people’s determination, hard work, and passion for science. I wholeheartedly congratulate them and believe that they will achieve even greater successes in the future. We are always proud of our young people who are building Türkiye ‘s future.” He emphasized that they are always on the side of young people and will continue to support them.

The Küçükçekmece City Council Committees and Executive Board held a joint meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. The meeting addressed projects that will contribute to the city’s future, socially beneficial work, and strategic goals. It was emphasized that productive work would continue by strengthening a culture of collective wisdom and cooperation for the city.
