Hizmet İhracatçıları Birliği (HİB) Türkiye Eğitim Komisyonu toplantısı 8 Eylül tarihinde gerçekleştirildi.
Toplantıda, uluslararası öğrenci temini çalışmalarında eğitim sektörünün Eximbank kredilerinden yararlanabilmesi konusu değerlendirildi.
HİB Eğitim Komitesi Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, toplantıda yaptığı konuşmada, temel hedeflerinin uluslararası öğrenci sayısını ve hizmet ihracat kapasitesini artırmak olduğunu vurguladı. Aydın, Türkiye’deki eğitim sektörünün durumu hakkında yapılan genel bir değerlendirmenin ardından uluslararası öğrenci temininin pandemi döneminde nasıl yönetilmeye devam edeceği hakkında da fikirlerini paylaştı.
Uluslararası öğrencilerin eğitim kalitesini yükselttiğini savunan Aydın, öğrencilerin ülke ekonomisine bıraktığı artı katkının yadsınamayacak kadar büyük olduğunun altını çizdi.
Eğitim ihracatının önemine değinen Aydın, “Uluslararası öğrenciler Türkiye’yi tercih ediyorsa Türkiye’deki yükseköğretim kurumlarının kalitesi artmış demektir. Binin üzerinde dünya üniversitesi gördüm. İnanın bana Türkiye üniversiteleri çok iyi konumda.” ifadelerini kullandı.

Service Exporters’ Association (HIB) Turkey Education Commission meeting was held on 8 September.
At the meeting, the issue of the education sector’s chance to benefit from Eximbank loans in international student recruitment was discussed.
In his speech, the Chairman of HIB Education Committee Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, emphasized that their main goal is to increase the number of international students and their service export capacity. After a general assessment of the state of the education sector in Turkey, Aydın also shared his thoughts on how we can manage international students’ recruitment during pandemic period.
Aydın believes that international students improve the quality of education and he underlined that the positive contribution of students to the country’s economy is undeniable.
Aydın mentioned the importance of education exports and said, “If international students prefer Turkey, it means that the quality of higher education institutions in Turkey has increased. I have seen over a thousand world universities. Believe me, Turkish universities are in a very good position.” he said.
