İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Dr. Mustafa Aydın İstanbul İran İslam Cumhuriyeti Başkonsolosluğuna ziyarette bulundu.
Başkonsolos ile görüşmeden önce 6 Ocak da İran da Sanchi petrol tankerinin patlaması sonucu hayatını kaybeden İranlı şehitler için taziyeyelerini anı defterine yazan Dr. Aydın, anma töreni sonrası İstanbul, İran Başkonsolosu Bakhtiar Asadzadeh ve İran Kültür Ateşeleri ile bir araya geldi.
Başkonsolos Asadzadeh İran ve Türkiye’nin işbirliği ile bölgemizde ki kritik konuların çözüme kavuşacağını belirtti. Dr. Mustafa Aydın ise Büyükelçiyi doğrulayarak bölgede eğitim üzerine yapılacak işbiliğin önemine dikkat çekerek iki ülke arası politik meselerde yakınlığın sağlanmasından mutluluk duyduğunu ancak politikada yaşanan sorunların Yükseköğretim alanında işbirliği için engel olmaması gerektiğinin altını çizdi.
Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President of Istanbul Aydin University, visited Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul.He first wrote a memorial message in commemoration of the martyrs of Iranian sailors following the “Sanchi” oil tanker collision that occurred on 6 January 2018. After the memorial ceremony, Dr. Mustafa Aydin has visited Mr. Bakhtiar Asadzadeh, Iran’s Consul-General in Istanbul. Mr. Rashed, the Culture Attache, and Mr. Azimzadeh, Responsible for formalities of the Consulate General were also attended the meeting.
During his speech, Mr. Asadzadeh mentioned about the critical issues that our region is dealing with and thus the importance of close cooperation between Iran and Turkey. Dr. Aydin also affirmed Mr. Asadzadeh’s point of view and explained the importance of education in this arena. He stated, “We are happy that at the time our politicians are working very close to each other, but we should collaborate in a way that if our politicians become distant, cooperation’s in higher education would not let this go far anymore.”
