Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the 5th DEİK Masters of Business Awards Ceremony, held in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, and distinguished representatives of the business community.
The event honored distinguished figures who have made significant contributions to Türkiye’s economic development and international economic relations while highlighting the value of experience, vision, and institutional memory in the business world.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the 39th DEİK Ordinary Financial General Assembly together with DEİK Board Members, Founding Institution Presidents, Business Council Presidents, and delegates.
The General Assembly reviewed the organization’s activities carried out in 2025 while discussing year-end objectives, work programs for 2026, and Türkiye’s roadmap in the field of economic diplomacy.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the June Board of Directors Meeting of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK).
During the meeting, participants discussed global economic developments, Türkiye’s priorities in economic diplomacy, the expectations of the business community, and strategic objectives for the upcoming period.
Preparations for the 39th DEİK Ordinary Financial General Assembly were also reviewed, with particular emphasis placed on initiatives aimed at enhancing the global competitiveness of the Turkish business community.

The meeting focused on enhancing Türkiye’s service export potential, strengthening the global competitiveness of related sectors, and establishing a sustainable growth framework.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the Türkiye–Saudi Arabia Roundtable Meeting held in Ankara with the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu and Saudi Deputy Minister of Investment Ibrahim Yusuf Al Mubarak.
Organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), the meeting addressed economic and commercial relations between the two countries while also exploring investment opportunities and cooperation in international contracting services.
The December Executive Council Meeting of the Foreign Currency Earning Services Working Group of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) was held under the hosting of Mr. Firuz Bağlıkaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB).
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın shared his evaluations on strengthening the global position of the services sector, increasing export potential, and enhancing international cooperation. Strategic priorities to boost Türkiye’s competitiveness in service exports, sectoral opportunities, and future objectives were discussed comprehensively by the participants.

The June Board of Directors Meeting of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. At the meeting, strategies that will further advance Turkey’s foreign economic relations were discussed. In the session where the changing dynamics of global trade were evaluated, it was emphasized that efforts to increase the effectiveness of the business world in the international arena will continue with determination. The meeting provided a useful ground for consultation for concrete steps to be taken in line with common goals.
DEIK Board Member Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın participated in the 4th DEIK Italy-Türkiye Business Forum held in Rome as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Italy.
Organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), this important platform, which aims to move the economic relations between the two countries forward, started with bilateral business meetings. The forum offered a strategic ground to increase the sustainable trade volume between Türkiye and Italy and to create new business opportunities.
As part of the program, DEIK and Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo signed the first memorandum of understanding to promote the internationalization of Italian businesses operating in Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that this significant step lays the foundation for long-term and sustainable economic cooperation not only for the two countries but also for the region as a whole.
The forum also featured sector panels in strategic areas such as infrastructure, sustainable energy, circular economy, advanced manufacturing, global hubs and connectivity, and defense industry. The event continued with the opening speeches of Mr. Mustafa Tuzcu, Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and Mr. Edmondo Cirielli, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın also met with the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during the forum. This summit, which took place with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Meloni, marked a new era in the economic relations between the two countries.
