“10th November Ataturk Remembrance Event” was held in IAU. At the event, which held with active participation of students and academicians in Necdet Timur Auditorium; after the stand in silence and the turkish national anthem, IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Rector Prof Yadigar İzmirli made their opening speeches.
Then, under the conductorship of the teacher of IAU Faculty of Education Music Teaching PhD Erdal Şahin, music concert of choir that consisting of IAU Music Teaching Faculty students was held.
Afterwards, IAU Faculty of Science and Literature History Department Lecturer PhD Naim Babüroğlu made a comprehensive presentation about Ataturk.
The ceremony ended with presentation a plaque to Naim Babüroğlu by IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Rector Prof Yadigar İzmirli.
29th October Republic Day was celebrated at IAU. In the ceremony that performed at A Block Hasan Fehmi Büyükbayram Conference Hall; after the speeches of IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli, IAU USAM Manager Assistant Prof. Naim Babüroğlu made a speech titled “Atatürk and Cumhuriyet”.
IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın mentioned acquirements of our country with Republic in his speech and he said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the Great Leader Atatürk and all our heroes in the War of Independence.”
IAU USAM Manager Assistant Prof. Naim Babüroğlu mentioned historic process until establishment of the republic and struggle of Veteran Mustafa Kemal in this period.
Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Institute of Graduate Studies Graduation Ceremony was held in T Block Necdet Timur Auditorium. IAU Institute of Graduate Studies Manager Prof. Ragıp Kutay Karaca, IAU Rector Prof. Yadigar İzmirli and IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made opening speeches in the ceremony that attended by students graduated from master and doctorate programs and their parents. Then, diplomas presented to first successful students of the faculty by IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Prof. Rector Yadigar İzmirli. At the end of the ceremony, traditional pinning the names on the Graduation Register and throwing caps ceremony were held.
İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; Trabzon Fen Lisesine ziyarette bulunarak, Lise Müdürü Coşkun Çolak ile görüştü. Görüşmede Trabzon Fen Lisesinin faaliyetleri ile ilgili bilgiler alan Aydın, okulu gezerek mevcut imkânlara yönelik incelemelerde de bulundu.

IAU PRESIDENT ASSOC. PROF. MUSTAFA AYDIN VISITED TRABZON SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL
Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Trabzon Science High School and met with the Principal Coşkun Çolak. Receiving information about Trabzon High School Activities, Aydın toured the school and examined into current facilities.
Expressing his thanks for their hospitality after the school tour under the guidance of Trabzon Science High School Principal Coşkun Çolak, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın also stated that they are proud of Trabzon’s achievements in education.
İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Trabzon merkezde bulunan SBÜ Trabzon Kanuni Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine ziyarette bulundu. Hastane Başhekimi Prof. Dr. Süleyman Türedi ve Tıp Fakültesi Dekanı Doç. Dr. Hasan Rıza Aydın ile görüşerek hastane hakkında bilgiler alan Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; bir Trabzonlu olarak, şehir halkına verilen kaliteli sağlık hizmetinden dolayı hastane yönetimine teşekkürlerini sundu.
Ayrıca kampüsteki Kaşüstü Ana Bina ve Numune Ek Binaları olmak üzere iki ayrı hizmet binasını gezen Aydın, hastane ve tıp fakültesi ile ilgili bireysel değerlendirmelerini de yetkililerle paylaştı.
ASSOC. PROF. MUSTAFA AYDIN VISITED UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES TRABZON KANUNI TRAINING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL
IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited UHS Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital in the city center of Trabzon. Meeting with Hospital Head Doctor hospital Prof. Dr. Süleyman Türedi and Dean of Medical Faculty Assoc. Prof. Hasan Rıza Aydın and getting information about the hospital Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, as a Trabzon citizen, expressed his thanks to hospital administration for the quality medical service provided to townspeople.
Aydın also visited two service buildings in the campus, Kaşüstü Main Building and Numune Additional Building, and he shared his individual evaluations about hospital and medical faculty with the authorities.

PROF. SEZER ŞENER KOMSUOGLU VISITED THE ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY
Former Rector of Kocaeli University Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu visited Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın in his office and toured the IAU campus.
Mentioning that Istanbul Aydın University Halit Aydın Campus is very attractive in the ways of physical capacity, technical infrastructure, social environment and sufficiency, Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu expressed her thanks to IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and university administration due to devoting close attention.
At the meeting which ideas exchanged on the quality of higher education, fruitful evaluations were made about 360-degree education approach.
Avrasya Üniversiteler Birliği (Eurasian Universities Union-EURAS) üyesi olan Roma La Sapienza Üniversitesi ile İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi arasındaki iş birliği kapsamında, temsilcilik ofislerinin resmî açılışı gerçekleşti.
Sapienza’dan açılış için gelen Uluslararası İlişkilerden Sorumlu Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Bruno Botta, Proje Danışmanı Prof. Fabio Grassi, uluslararası ofis direktörü ve sorumlularından oluşan heyet İAÜ’de karşılandı. SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY OF ROME REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE OPENED IN IAU
Within the scope of the cooperation between Sapienza University of Rome and Istanbul Aydın University which are the members of Eurasian Universities Union-EURAS, representative office formal opening was held.
The delegation consisting of Deputy Rector for International Affairs Prof. Bruno Botta, Scientific Counsellor of the Desk Project Prof. Fabio Grassi, international affairs director and officers who came from Sapienza for the opening ceremony, welcomed at Istanbul Aydın University. After the opening ceremony, the members of delegation toured the campus and exchanged their ideas with the IAU authorized names.
2018 yılından bu yana T.C. Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı Türkiye Teknoloji Takımı Vakfı’nın çatısı altında gerçekleştirilen, havacılık ve uzay teknolojisi alanında güçlü bir tanıtım ve iletişim imkânı sağlayan TEKNOFEST’in en son organizasyonu; “TEKNOFEST Havacılık, Uzay ve Teknoloji Festivali” adıyla 30 Ağustos 2022- 4 Eylül 2022 tarihleri arasında Samsun Çarşamba Havalimanı’nda düzenlendi.
Hızla uluslararası bir marka hâline gelen festivale İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi de; İAÜ Teknoloji Geliştirme Merkezi (İAÜ TEKMER) ile İAÜ Teknoloji Transfer ve Proje Yönetim Ofisi Girişimcilik ve Kuluçka Merkezi (İAÜ TTPYO) gibi birimleriyle iştirak etti. Organizasyonun iletişim, iş birliği, network oluşturma gibi birçok önemli yönünden istifade edebilmek amacıyla güçlü bir performans sergileyen İAÜ Ekibi’ni İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın da yalnız bırakmadı ve yakın çalışma ekibiyle birlikte festivale aktif katılım sağladı.
“En son, dost ve kardeş ülke Azerbaycan’da bu yıl içinde gerçekleştirilen TEKNOFEST Azerbaycan’a katılım sağlayarak; Azerbaycan Cumhurbaşkanı İlham Aliyev’in de iştirakleri ile Bakü’deki TEKNOFEST coşkusunu yaşamıştık! 30 Ağustos itibarıyla aynı coşkuyu, gözbebeği şehrimiz Samsun’da da tecrübe ettik. İnanıyorum ki, TEKNOFEST’in Samsun’daki bu güçlü ve önemli organizasyonu da; hem sektörel bazda hem de teknolojiyle ve havacılıkla ilgili uygulamalı eğitim noktasında çok ciddi açılımlara vesile olacaktır.” şeklinde konuşan Doç. ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY WAS IN “TEKNOFEST AEROSPACE AND TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL”
The latest organization of TEKNOFEST which has been held under the umbrella of T.R. Ministry of Industry and Technology Turkish Technology Team since 2018 and provides a strong promotion and communication opportunity in the field of aviation and space technology, was held under the name of “TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival” between 30 August 2022-4 September 2022 at Samsun Çarşamba Airport
Istanbul Aydın University with its units such as Technology Development Center (TEKMER), Technology Transfer and Project Management Office and Incubation Center (TTPYO) also attended the festival that rapidly become an international brand. IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın didn’t leave the IAU Team alone, which showed a strong performance on the purpose of exploiting from many important aspects of the organization such as communication, cooperation and networking and he spryly attended the festival with his close working team.
“Lastly, we had the enthusiasm of TEKNOFEST in Baku with the participation of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev by participating in TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan held this year in friendly and brotherly country Azerbaijan! We experienced also the same enthusiasm in our apple of eye city Samsun as of 30 August. I believe that the strong and important organization of TEKNOFEST in Samsun also will conduce toward very serious developments in relation to both on sectoral basis and hands-on training related technology and aviation.” Aydın said. He expressed his gratitude to authorized names and everyone who contributed on planning and applying this functional organization which aims to develop Turkey’s national technologies and promote them in the national and international area.
YÖK Başkanı Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar’ın ve Vakıf Yükseköğretim Kurumları temsilcilerinin katılımlarıyla; Türkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği (TOBB) İkiz Kuleler’de, “TOBB Yükseköğretim Meclisi İstişare Toplantısı” gerçekleştirildi. İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın’ın da iştirak ettiği toplantıda; yükseköğretim sistemine ilişkin birçok başlıkta fikir alışverişi yapıldı.
Vakıf yükseköğretim kurumlarının öğrenim ücretleri konusunda öğrencilere destek vermesinin ve barınma ihtiyaçlarının çözümü için gayret sarf etmesinin karara bağlandığı toplantıda; kontenjanların yüksek oranda dolmuş olması nedeniyle yaşanabilecek birçok problem masaya yatırıldı ve kayıt yaptıracak öğrencilerin karşılaşabileceği olası sorunlara ilişkin tedbirler görüşüldü.
TOBB HIGHER EDUCATION COUNCIL CONSULTATION MEETING WAS HELD
“TOBB Higher Education Council Consultation Meeting” was held in The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Twin Tower with the participation of YÖK President Prof. Dr Erol Özvar and foundation higher education institutions. At the meeting that İstanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın participated in, ideas were exchanged on many topics relating to higher education system.
It was decided that foundation higher education institutions should support students about education fees and make efforts to solve their accommodation needs. Many possible problems due to the high rate of filling of the quotas and precautions about the potential issues that students who will enroll may encounter were discussed.
İAÜ Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinin 6. Dönem Mezuniyet-Yemin Töreni, A Blok Hasan Fehmi Büyükbayram Konferans Salonunda gerçekleşti. Törene, İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Rektör Yrd. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın, Diş Hekimliği Odalar Birliği Başkanı Berna Aytaç, İAÜ Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Tosun Tosun, mezun öğrenciler ve veliler katıldı.
Protokoldeki katılımcıların hitabından sonra konuşma yapan İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, fakülte birincisini tebrik ederek hediyesini takdim etti. Velilere ve hocalara da ayrıca teşekkürlerini sunarak, “Değerli mezunlarımı yeniden tebrik ediyor ve başarılarınızın bizlere büyük bir umut verdiğini ifade etmek istiyorum. Yolunuz ve bahtınız açık olsun!” dedi.

IAU Faculty of Dentistry 6th period Oath-Taking Ceremony was held in A Block Fehmi Büyükbayram Conferance Hall. Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın, The Chamber of Dentists Chairwoman Berna Aykaç, The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Tosun Tosun, graduated students and their parents also attended the ceremony.
After the speeches of the participants in the protocol, IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made a speech, congratulated the best student of the faculty and presented her a gift. Expressing his gratitude to the parents and lecturers especially, he said “I would like to congratulate my dear graduates and express that your successes give us a great hope. All the bests for you!”
