UFRAD July board meeting was held on 2023, July 4 via zoom. Among the items of the agenda were evaluation of membership applications and revision of previous board meeting minutes. UFRAD past and future planned activities were shared to all board members.
All board members discuss the current sector developments as they do each meeting. Ongoing activities and work plans were also discussed. The meeting ended with wishes and requests.
Turkish Franchising Association (UFRAD) and TÜYAP Enlarged Board Meeting was held in Istanbul Aydın University.
In the meeting which board members came together at the dinner hosted by UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, evaluations about next period activities, sectoral problems and solution offers and preparation of Franchise Istanbul Expo 2023 that will be held this year were made.
Turkish Frachising Association 16th General Assembly was held at Istanbul Aydın University under the presidency of UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın. In the meeting, evaluations on annual reports and budget planning were made. After that, the new period of directors and supervisory board selections were made.
After the presentation of UFRAD Communication Coordinator İrem Arman, Council Committee and Board Members made their speeches. President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made the following determinations in his speech: “UFRAD has been supporting the transfer of the dynamics of successful brands to the entrepreneurial spirit since 1991. It contributes to being guided our country’s investors toward branding, encouraging local brands to gain a place in international markets and has a chance to compete. I would like you to know, as UFRAD, we are always with our brands, as we have been up to now. We are your biggest defender and stronger supporter. Together, we will print with golden letters the Turkish brand’s names in the world markets. Hereby, I would like to congratulate the new directors and supervisory board members who were assigned to the 16th Ordinary General Assembly and wish them continued success.”
Turkish Franchising Association Board Meeting was held on 12th January 2023. The meeting with the participation of UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and board members was held in J Club hosted by UFRAD Vice President Ahmet Polat.
Previous meeting declarations, plans and preparations for the future and new collaborations were evaluated at the meeting. Speaking UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın in the meeting where ideas on sectoral developments were exchanged, summarized the current situation of the franchise sector in Türkiye and informed about the next periods of the sector.
Turkish Franchising Association Board and Round Table Meeting held with participation of UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, the representatives of Turkish lead brands and TÜYAP Fairs General Manager İlhan Ersözlü. The previous meeting declarations, plans and preparations for 2023 and new collaborations were evaluated at the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting where ideas were exchanged about sectoral developments, UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın summarized the current situation of the franchise sector in Turkey and talked about plans for the sector. Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın emphasized brands have to be globalization and he said, “We predict participation of more than 250 local and foreign brands from 40 different sectors and local and foreign visitors more than 20 thousand from 30 countries. We prepared all necessary infrastructure and our roadmap to be able to achieve this near target. Today as UFRAD, with the acceleration we given to our franchising sector which has business capacity of 50 billion, we believe that our sector will continue to be the one of important wheels of our economy in coming years.”
Coming together for the dinner after the round table meeting, UFRAD members mentioned their pleasure with the program’s efficiency and they expressed their gratitude to UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın for this useful organization which came together hundreds of brands from different sectors countrywide.
The press conference was organized in order to share the details of the cooperation with TÜYAP by Turkish Franchising Association (UFRAD). The purpose and scope of the cooperation shared at the meeting attended by UFRAD president Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın.
UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın who made a speech at the press conference, stated that within the scope of cooperation, the fairs supported by Turkish Franchising Association (UFRAD), and organized in order to enable Turkish brands to spread domestically and abroad with the “Franchise and Branded Dealership” system, will be held in cooperation with TÜYAP as of 2023 and this cooperation will make serious contributions to the process. “We organized 32 fairs as UFRAD until now. We will continue next fairs with a world’s giant such as TÜYAP, that has made a name for itself in both national and international borders and has proven itself in the field of fairs.” said Aydın expressed that the cooperation with TÜYAP is an important step for UFRAD.
UFRAD Board Meeting was held in Nalia Karadeniz Mutfağı hosted by UFRAD member Süleyman Tarakçı under the presidency of UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın.
In the meeting, which evaluated the 20th Be My Franchise Fair that held on October, opinions were exchanged about the new projects and sectorial developments.
The opening ceremony of 20th Be My Franchise Fair was held on 27 October 2022 in Yenikapı Avrasya Dr. Mimar Kadir Topbaş Show and Art Center.
Along with brand representatives, press, and customers attended the fair in addition to UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and UFRAD Board Members. An environment that is conducive to new partnerships and agreements was present at the trade fair in which hundreds of brands participated. The MOU was signed at the fair between the UFRAD Franchising Association and the Azerbaijan Franchising Association.
Sector experts at the fair that lasted for 4 days conducted various seminars and, in this context, many speeches, representatives and panels were organized.
Ulusal Franchising Derneği (UFRAD) tarafından, Eylül Ayı Yönetim Kurulu Toplantısı gerçekleştirildi. Yapılan çevrim içi toplantıda, bir önceki birleşimin kararları değerlendirildi ve 27-30 Ekim 2022 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecek olan “Bayim Olur musun Franchising ve Markalı Bayilik Fuarı”nın hazırlıkları görüşüldü. Ayrıca sektördeki güncel gelişmeler hakkında sektör temsilcilerinin yorumları alınarak, mevcut ve olası durumlara ilişkin fikir alışverişinde bulunuldu.
UFRAD BOARD MEMBERS CAME TOGETHER FOR SEPTEMBER BOARD MEETING
Turkish Franchising Association September Board Meeting was held. In the online meeting, previous meeting minutes were evaluated and the preparations of “Be My Dealer Franchising Fair” that planning on 27-30 October 2022 were discussed. Receiving sector representatives’ comments about current affairs in sector, ideas were exchanged on existing and possible states.
Franchising Derneği (UFRAD) Temmuz Ayı Yönetim Kurulu Toplantısı, UFRAD üyesi Sn. Murat Dilbağı’nın ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirildi. Çengelköy Börekçisinde gerçekleşen toplantıda, mevcut faaliyetler ve geleceğe ilişkin projeler hakkında değerlendirmelerde bulunuldu.
Franchising Derneği (UFRAD) Genel Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın da toplantıya katıldı ve misafirperverlikleri için Sn. Murat Dilbağı’na teşekkür etti.
UFRAD JULY BOARD MEETING WAS HELD
Turkish Franchising Association July Board meeting was held hosted by UFRAD member Murat Dilbağ. In the meeting held in Çengelköy Börekçisi, evaluations on current activities and projects for the future were made.
Turkish Franchising Association (UFRAD) President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın also attended the meeting and he expressed his thanks to Murat Dilbağ for his hospitality.
