The opening of the Franchise Istanbul Expo, organized in cooperation with TÜYAP and marking the 34th fair of the UFRAD Franchising Association, was held at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center with strong participation.

The event brought together investors, brand representatives, and franchise associations from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, as well as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The fair featured successful, active, and dynamic brands from various sectors.

Delivering the opening speech, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of the Board of the National Franchise Association (UFRAD), emphasized the importance of branding.

The February Board of Directors Meeting of the UFRAD Franchising Association was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and hosted by Board Member Çiğdem Makıroğlu, Founder of CDM Financial Consultancy, Audit & Advisory at Ghalia Lounge.

During the meeting, candidate membership applications submitted to the association were reviewed and membership processes were discussed. In addition, the preparation process for the Franchise Istanbul Expo was discussed in detail,which will take place on April 16–19, 2026 and serve as a key meeting point for the franchise sector, was discussed in detail.

The January Board of Directors Meeting of the UFRAD Franchising Association was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and hosted by Bülent Ünal, Chairman of the Board of TUYAP Fair Organization Inc. and İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager.

During the meeting, the preparation process of the Franchise Istanbul Expo—planned to be held on 16–19 April 2026 with strong international interest and high-level participation—was discussed in all its aspects. It was emphasized that the event is one of the most important gatherings shaping the sector, carrying brands onto the global stage, and serving as a key meeting point of the franchising ecosystem.

Board of Directors June Meeting of UFRAD Franchising Association was held under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and hosted by Istanbul Aydın University.

During the meeting, while the activities of the previous period were evaluated, new period projects, sectoral developments and strategic road map were discussed in detail with the contributions of the committees within UFRAD. Participants exchanged views on the steps to be taken in line with the association’s sustainable growth targets.

At the end of the meeting, UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın was thanked for his hospitality and contributions.
