With the participation of the District Governor of Küçükçekmece, Mr. Mustafa Anteplioğlu, the January Board Meeting of the Küçükçekmece City Council was held at the Küçükçekmece Public Education Center under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.

During the meeting, the new year’s activity planning was discussed, and comprehensive evaluations were made on participatory, sustainable initiatives that are responsive to the needs of the district.

In an interview with Kamuran Abacıoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ekovitrin Media Group, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın comprehensively assessed the current outlook of the Turkish economy and the key issues facing the real sector.

During the discussion, economic balances, access to finance, the resilience of the real sector, the expectations of the business community and the key strategic priorities for 2026 were addressed. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın shared his views particularly on the perspective of sustainable growth, which is of great importance for entrepreneurs, and offered assessments regarding the future of the Turkish economy.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın visited  The ICFE International Carpet ,Flooring  and Technology Fair with the Governer of Gaziantep, Kemal Ceber, at Istanbul Fair Center.

Observing the current state of the sector and its future-oriented vision firsthand at this important platform where tradition meets technology and craftsmanship meets design ,Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that Türkiye’s production strength and export capacity were once again clearly demonstrated at the fair.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın participated in the Expanded Board of Chairpersons Meeting organized by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TIM). The meeting was also attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, Dr. Fatih Karahan.

During the meeting, the current expectations of exporter sectors access to finance processes, economic developments and proposed solutions were discussed in a comprehensive manner. Evaluations were also made regarding the sustainable growth of exports, the enhancement of sectoral competitiveness and the strengthening of the Turkish economy.

Dr. İsrafil Kuralay, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Commerce University , paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and met with him at Istanbul Aydın University.

During the meeting, comprehensive evaluations were made on the future of higher education the strategic importance of inter-university cooperation and potential initiatives that could be developed in line with a shared vision.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın participated in the 2025 Foreign Trade Data Announcement Program, held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The program was also attended by the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, Ömer Bolat; the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır; the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry  İbrahim Yumaklı; the Chairman of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TIM), Mustafa Gültepe as well as distinguished representatives of the business community.

 Stating that reaching a historic record in the history of the republic with merchandise exports totaling USD 273.4 billion in 2025 is a great source of pride for the country, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Trade in particular as well as to all members of the export community and the distinguished representatives of the business world who contributed to this achievement.

The senior management of Cyprus Aydın University convened for the final meeting of the year under the chairmanship of the Honorary President of Cyprus Aydın University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. During the meeting, the activities carried out throughout 2025 were comprehensively reviewed, while the goals and roadmap for 2026 were shaped through a collective and consultative approach. Honorary President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that this journey, sustained through a culture of consultation, trust, and team spirit, has significantly strengthened the university’s institutional development. He emphasized that the determination to carry Cyprus Aydın University toward a stronger future was once again reinforced through this meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his gratitude to all colleagues who contributed to the process, assumed responsibility, and sincerely shared the same vision.

The administrative team of Istanbul Aydın University convened at the Board Meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. While activities carried out throughout 2025 were comprehensively reviewed, the roadmap for 2026 was also discussed in detail.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın emphasized the significance of objectives that will further enhance academic quality, strengthen the university’s international visibility, and provide a more qualified educational environment for students. Strategic topics discussed included the pursuit of excellence in education, strengthening global competitiveness, and implementing innovative practices.

At the December Advisory Board Meeting of the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Language Learning/Preparatory Centers (DÖDAK), accreditation processes and institutional sustainability topics aimed at strengthening quality assurance in Turkish language teaching centers were addressed on an academic basis.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın emphasized the importance of embedding a permanent culture of quality in higher education and stated that the vision put forward by DÖDAK will further strengthen Türkiye’s position in the field of international education.

Organized by the Service Exporters’ Association (HİB) and chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, the workshop titled ‘2053 Vision in International Student Recruitment in Türkiye’ was held with strong participation from public institutions, universities, and sectoral stakeholders.

Participants included Tarık Sönmez, Director General for International Service Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Mustafa Efe, Head of International Relations Department of the Council of Higher Education, Mehmet Ali Akdağ, former Education Counselor in Warsaw and representative of the Ministry of National Education, Yusuf Karataş, Head of Visa Department of the Presidency of Migration Management, Harun Aydoğmuş, Deputy Director General for International Labor Force of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, TİM President Mustafa Gültepe, and distinguished representatives of universities.

The issue of international student recruitment was addressed not only within the framework of current needs, but also from a long-term, strategic, and sustainable perspective in line with the 2053 vision.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın emphasized that the workshop outputs were shaped through collective wisdom and provide a strategic foundation that will enhance Türkiye’s global competitiveness in education. He underlined that policy proposals adding qualitative depth to the internationalization process will further strengthen Türkiye’s brand value in higher education.
