A Mevlid-i Sherif program was held at the T Block Mosque of Istanbul Aydın University in memory of the late Muftü Halit Aydın, father of IAU President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın as well as grandfather of Vice Chairman Dr. Halit Fatih Aydın, Vice Chairman of the AKEV Board of Directors Mümine Elif Aydın and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Cyprus Science University Fatma Nur Aydın.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın honored his late father by sharing that he was not only a father but a beacon of knowledge, ethics, and spiritual guidance who illuminated the lives of those around him. He reflected on the enduring legacy of love, compassion, and humanity left by his father, saying, “We miss him more each day, and we feel the depth of his value even more. May his soul rest in peace, and his place be in Heaven.”
During the program, prayers were offered for the souls of the departed, and the memory of the late Halit Aydın was cherished with love and respect.
