The 20^th session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 18^th January 2023 with the theme of “Kazakhstan”.

The online program, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with presentations of Astana Commercial Principal Consultant Yahya Baba, Astana Commercial Counselor Erk Oyal, Astana Commercial Attaché Ali Toksöz, Almati Commercial Attaches Sıddık Kaya and Ekrem Alper Bozkurt.

Including detailed information on service export in Kazakhstan in the presentations, import-export data of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan-Türkiye bilateral trade, Türkiye investments in Kazakhstan, service sectors and fairs subjects discussed. After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

The management and enlarged consultation meeting of Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly was held on 10^th January 2023 at Foreign Trade Complex.

To the meeting which held under the presidency of HİB President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, T.R. Ministry of Trade International Services Trade Deputy General Manager Alperen Kaçar, HİB Vice President and Education Services Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and committee members of all sub-sectors attended.

At the meeting in which 2022 year was evaluated; sectoral problems and solutions were discussed.

A committee consisting of HİB and THY President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, HİB Vice President and Education Services President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, HİB Treasurer Member Mehmet Erdoğan, HİB General Secretary Fatih Özer and T.R. Ministry of Trade International Services Trade Deputy General Manager Alperen Kaçar, visited Republic of Türkiye Central Bank President Prof. Dr. Şahap Kaycıoğlu in his office. Kaycıoğlu made evaluations of current affairs about Türkiye Economy at the meeting.

HİB Vice President and Education Services Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın attended the ceremony which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced Foreign Trade Figures for 2022.

To the meeting held in Şişli; with President, T.R. Minister of Commerce Dr. Mehmet Muş, T.R. Minister of Treasury and Finance Assoc. Prof. Nureddin Nebati, T.R. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, T.R. Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and Türkiye Exporters Assembly President Mustafa Gültepe also participated.

In his statement, President said “Our exports in 2022 increased by 12.9 percent compared to the previous year and amounted to 254.2 billion dollars. This figure is the record of our Republic history.”

The online program, which started with opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with presentations of Abu Dhabi Commercial Counsellor Hikmet Işıl Deniz, Dubai Commercial Attaches Ersoy Erbay and Hacı Hasan Kaygısız.

In the presentation, which includes detailed information on service export in United Arab Emirates; was given place to subjects such as country profile of United Arab Emirates, foreign trade, UAE-Turkey bilateral business connections and service trade, business culture in United Arab Emirates. After the presentation, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.
