Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın attended a dinner invitation hosted by Panjab Governor Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman in the Governor’s Mansion on the last day of his meetings in Pakistan. During the meeting, friendly relations between Türkiye and Pakistan were discussed.
After paying various visits in Pakistan for strengthening cultural and academic collaborations, Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Punjab University. Coming together with the graduate students of the university, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made an interview. In addition, the cooperation protocol signed between Istanbul Aydın University and Punjab University.
Then, attending the broadcast of NEO TV which is the one of leading tv channels in Pakistan, Aydın evaluated Pakistan-Türkiye bilateral relations, historic friendship between the two countries and cooperation in the field of higher education. In addition, he made evaluations on these topics to Daily Nai Baat, one of the most important publications in Pakistan and mentioned activities in Superior University.
Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, at Lahore Superior University where he went with the invitations of Superior University President Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdul Rehman and Rector Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, held an acquaintance and experience share meeting with the rector, deans and administrative staffs.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made the official opening of Superior University Research Hospital. Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın’s name was given to the hospital. Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın was welcomed with cheers by those in the ceremony area, also visited various units of the university after the inauguration held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Istanbul Aydın University June Board Meeting was held. IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, IAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli, Vice Rectors, deans and administrative staffs attended the meeting.
Previous term activities were discussed and ideas on current activity plans and projects were exchanged.
Services Exporters’ Association Board Member, Tourism and Travel Related Services Committee President and NG Hotels President Hediye Güral Gür visited Istanbul Aydın University.
IAU President, HIB Vice President and HIB Education Services Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın toured the IAU Campus with Hediye Güral Gül. After the tour, meetings and evaluations on collaborations and projects for the future were made.
15th Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Carreer Fair was held. Lead firms of sector came together with IAU students.
Students, alumni and guests participating in the fair had the opportunity to meet human sources officers of the firms, to make a job and internship application, to get information about sectors firsthand, to make a career plan and to improve their professional communication skills.
Participants had fruitful interviews at the fair almost 100 firms from 17 different sectors took part and added a new one to the steps for “A Bright Future”.
Visiting one by one the booths in the fairgrounds Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın mentioned that IAU has always been the university the most importance to practical education and on-site application as much as theoretical education and emphasized that traditionalistic Career Fair is a very important opportunity for the students. In addition, he thanked to particularly IAU Career Center Manager Sözer Kırca all academic and administrative staff who contribute to the fair and representatives of participant firms.
The Rector of Baku Higher Oil School which is a member of Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) Prof. Dr. Elmar Gasimov visited Istanbul Aydın University.
Touring the IAU Campus with Prof. Dr. Elmar Gasimov, IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın shared important information about physical possibilities and training activities. At the meeting, international education collaborations between the universities of the two countries were also discussed.
Turkish Franchising Association (UFRAD) and TÜYAP Enlarged Board Meeting was held in Istanbul Aydın University.
In the meeting which board members came together at the dinner hosted by UFRAD President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, evaluations about next period activities, sectoral problems and solution offers and preparation of Franchise Istanbul Expo 2023 that will be held this year were made.
Services Exporters’ Association Education Services Equivalency Process Legislation Information Meeting was held. President of the Board of Education Prof. Dr. Cihad Demirli, T.R. Ministry of Commerce International Service Trade General Management Education and Innovator Services Head Fatih Aydın and representatives of universities which are the members of Service Exporters’ Association to the meeting.
Board of Education representatives informed the meeting participants about the renewed legislation and made mutual evaluations.
Service Exporters’ Association Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın attended THY new catering menu launch with the invitation of HİB and Turkish Airlines President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat.
The new menu to be serves in the “business” cabin of THY’s domestic flights were presented to the guests. Renewed the menu in the direction of the promotion mission of Turkiye won huge recognition. THY President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat stated that foods from traditional Turkish Cuisine and World Cuisine will be present in the new menu and 80% of the products were obtained from domestic sources. In addition, traditional products such as Trabzon butter, Ezine cheese, Rize tea and Blacksea beans were given places on the menu.
