Services Exporters’ Association Education Services Equivalency Process Legislation Information Meeting was held. President of the Board of Education Prof. Dr. Cihad Demirli, T.R. Ministry of Commerce International Service Trade General Management Education and Innovator Services Head Fatih Aydın and representatives of universities which are the members of Service Exporters’ Association to the meeting.
Board of Education representatives informed the meeting participants about the renewed legislation and made mutual evaluations.
Service Exporters’ Association Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın attended THY new catering menu launch with the invitation of HİB and Turkish Airlines President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat.
The new menu to be serves in the “business” cabin of THY’s domestic flights were presented to the guests. Renewed the menu in the direction of the promotion mission of Turkiye won huge recognition. THY President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat stated that foods from traditional Turkish Cuisine and World Cuisine will be present in the new menu and 80% of the products were obtained from domestic sources. In addition, traditional products such as Trabzon butter, Ezine cheese, Rize tea and Blacksea beans were given places on the menu.
Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın met with Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu in İzmir.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu visit Göztepe Stadium and toured the facility. At the end of the visit, stating that he liked the facility very much Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın wished success to Göztepe Sports Club.
Istanbul Aydın University May Board Meeting was held. IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, IAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli, vice-rectors, deans, administrative staffs attended the meeting.
At the meeting, previous term projects were evaluated and ideas were exchanged on the current situation.
Istanbul Aydın University, attracted great attention with the entrepreneurship products exhibited at its stand at the TECHNOFEST which is a shareholder. Meeting with students and visitors at the stand that İAÜ academic and administrative staff, entrepreneur students and investors took part, Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın also walked around other stands and the fairground with the students. He examined the technological products and projects one by one.
Within the scope of TECHNOFEST held with the participations of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar also visited İAÜ stand and obtained information about projects of the university. Then he examined the projects and presented his congratulations.
After that, Hacettepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran visited IAU stand and obtained information about the projects.
At the competition, IAU students advanced to the semi-final with their projects “Kökcell and Sanramka”. The “Sanramka” project developed by IAU teachers and students achieved the final place and placed 5th in the category of Technology Contest for the Benefit of Humanity. IAU Technology Development Center (TEKMER) entrepreneurs also introduced their projects in different fields at the biggest aviation, space and technology festival TECHNOFEST, of which IAU is a shareholder.
HİB delegation under the presidency of HİB Vice President and Education Services Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited the public enterprises in Rabat within the scope of the national participation event to L’etudiant International Student Fair. Within the framework of visits, meetings were held with Morocco National Center for Scientific and Technical Research and Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Cooperation and PartnershipDepartment.
In the long meeting between the delegation under the Morocco National Center for Scientific and Technical Research President Prof. Dr. Jamilia El Alami and HİB delegation, fruitful ideas on doing joint academic studies between Turkish universities attend to the fairs in Morocco and universities of Casablanca and Rabat were exchanged.
In Rabat, meeting with the delegation of one of the leading universities in Morocco, International University of Rabat, İAÜ President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and his team signed a wide range of cooperation protocol to improve current relations.
HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and HİB delegation, on the third day of fair, met with Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Cooperation and PartnershipDirector Sanaa Zebakh and her team.In the meeting, a working plan was determined to improve the collaboration between the universities of the two countries. In addition to holding Türkiye-Morocco Universities Forum, a cooperation decision on the recruitment of Turkish and Arabic lecturer were also made.
In the last day of the Morocco visits, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın met with IAU Alumni in Casablanca at the dinner and listened their career journey.
On the second day of L’etudiant International Student Fair national participation event held in Morocco with the organization of HİB, IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Casablanca II. Hasan University with his team. A comprehensive cooperation protocol was signed between Casablanca II. Hasan University which is the second largest university in Morocco in terms of academic quality and volume and IAU. Visiting the university and campus with his team, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın wished that the protocol would be beneficial for both universities and conducive to fruitful cooperation.
Rabat Embassy Charge D’affaires Efe Ceylan and Rabat Commercial Counsellor Mehmet Ali Oran visited the “Study in Türkiye” pavilion in L’etudiant International Student Fair on the second day of the national participation event.
The last event of the second day was high school visit.
Under the presidency of HİB Vice President and Education Services Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, with the support of T. R. Ministry of Trade and the organization of HİB “L’etudiant International Students Fair” was held in the Casablanca city of Morocco. National Participation Event with the “Study in Türkiye” pavilion was held at the fair.
In the event that Rabat Yunus Emre Institution Coordinator Reha Ermumcu visited, Turkish universities had a chance to promote themselves to Moroccan students. 20 universities from Türkiye attended the event.
Traditional eid celebration was held at Istanbul Aydın University. Academic and administrative staffs attended to the traditionalistic eid celebration ceremony. In the ceremony making a speech about the meaning and importance of fests, İAÜ President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın said “Fests are meaningful periods that enable people to reconsider for their lives. When we consider in this Eid, we should also question how we contribute to the process to relieve of the great disaster that affected our ten provinces.”
After Aydın celebrated the IAU Family’s Eid and shared his good wishes, the administrative and academic staff also began to speak and made their good wishes for Eid. The ceremony ended with the celebration of all staff.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın who is visiting the earthquake zone whenever possible, mobilize to support the earthquake victim, visited the earthquake zone again with İstanbul Aydın University support team.
Starting a mobilization in Gaziantep Nurdağı region with the encouragement and guidance of Coordinator Governor Kemal Çeber as Anatolia Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) and Istanbul Aydın University (IAU), Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın after visiting container living areas and educational and social facilities of IAU in the region, visited Mesthüyük, Gedikli and Çakmak villages which were badly damaged by the earthquake.
Hosted by Coordinator Governor Kemal Çeber, meeting with the İAÜ support team Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın presented his thanks to Coordinator Governor Kemal Çeber for important works in the region, in his speech at the iftar meal. In addition, he shared his pleasure for fruitful works in the region with İAÜ team that came together upon the iftar event.
