The August meeting of the Board of Directors of the Service Exporters Association (HİB) was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. At the meeting, where the items on the agenda were decided, assessments were made regarding the service sectors. In addition, the work carried out to increase the share of the service sectors in the global market and to further raise Turkey’s export power was discussed.
The Istanbul Aydın University Executive Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın with the participation of the management team. The meeting addressed the vision of excellence in education, innovative projects, and the goals for the coming period.

The Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) Board of Directors held its August meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın. The meeting evaluated ongoing efforts to strengthen educational diplomacy and projects for the upcoming period.
In addition, the preparation process for the Eurasian Higher Education Summit (EURIE 2026), to be held on April 7-9, 2026, was discussed in its all aspects. Prof. Dr. Aydın stated that steps to further advance global academic collaborations are being planned.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın attended the “Education World” program hosted by Mr. Ahmet Tunahan Şimşek on A Haber, where he discussed the impact of digital transformation on education, the needs of the business world shaped by artificial intelligence, and the new opportunities emerging in young people’s career plans.
Going beyond keeping pace with the changing times, Prof. Dr. Aydın emphasized the need to guide that pace, stating that their goal is to prepare young people not only for tomorrow, but always one step ahead.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that education is changing rapidly and artificial intelligence is shaping the future, emphasizing that young people should be raised not only as followers but as leaders.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Founding President of the Turkish Anti-Smoking Association, expressed his deep grief upon learning of the passing of the esteemed artist and valued colleague Mr. Selçuk Alagöz and issued a message of condolence.
Prof. Dr. Aydın wished the deceased artist God’s mercy, offered his condolences to his family and all his loved ones, and expressed his hope that “May he rest in peace.”

During the program, Prof. Dr. Aydın conveyed the educational vision of Istanbul Aydın University, its international collaborations, the opportunities offered to young people, and its projects for the future in all their dimensions. He also emphasized the importance of the application process.
“It’s not just about choosing a university anymore, it’s about choosing a future,” said Prof. Dr. Aydın, emphasizing that while access to information has become easier, finding the right information is more valuable than ever.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, who constantly calls on young people to “gain skills, not just a degree,” stated that the future belongs only to those who can read today well.
“Choosing a university or department is not just about choosing a place to study; it is also about choosing who you will become and what kind of place you will take in the world,” said Prof. Dr. Aydın, emphasizing that young people should position themselves not only for today but also for tomorrow’s world and their journey to becoming global citizens.
Prof. Dr. Aydın stated that Istanbul Aydın University will continue to support young people on this journey.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, together with IAÜ Fashion Design Program Department Head Lecturer Nihal Bolkol, he reviewed the creative projects carried out by students on site and stated that these unique works, which educate the designers of the future, beautifully reflect the university’s vision of bringing together science, art, and innovative thinking.
Emphasizing that each student has developed their own style and produced work that has something to say to the world, Prof. Dr. Aydın warmly congratulated all the teachers and students behind the effort.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın sincerely congratulated Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, who was reappointed as President of the Higher Education Council by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Prof. Dr. Aydın emphasized that during Mr. Özvar’s term, he has led the strengthening of the higher education system both locally and globally, achieving significant breakthroughs in many areas, from quality assurance to internationalization, digital transformation to regional development.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated that they will continue to produce together, walk together, and build the future of young people together, wishing the new term to be beneficial for our country and the academic community.
Küçükçekmece City Council July Board of Directors Meeting was held under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and hosted by Istanbul University.
During the meeting, the activities realized in the past period were evaluated, and new period plans were discussed in many areas, especially education, environment, youth and cultural projects.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın stated in his evaluation after the meeting that they will continue to produce sustainable projects that touch every aspect of urban life with determination. He emphasized the importance of works based on common sense and consultation in order to make Küçükçekmece a more livable future.
