The 28^th session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 17^th May 2023 with the theme of “Ghana”.

The online program, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with presentation of Ambassador to Accra Hüseyin Güngör, Accra Commercial Counselor Talha Tol. HİB Board Member and Software and IT Services Committee President İlhan Bağören and HIB General Secretary Dr. Fatih Özer also attended the meeting.

Including detailed information on service export in Ghana in the presentations; Ghana general economic outlook, health sector, information technologies sector and building/ construction business/ technic consultancy subjects discussed.

After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

Under the presidency of Service Exporters’ Association President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat with the participation of Vice Presidents Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and Salih Zeki Çakır, board members and the press, HİB Press Conference was held.

In his speech Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat stated that the sectors of service export closed 2022 with a historic success and completed the last year with a record export of 90.3 billion dollars. Bolat stated that the share of the sector in 2022 employment is 56.5% and the sectoral growth rate is 11.7%; For the year 2023, the 100th anniversary of the Republic, he stated that they aim for a service export income of 125 billion dollars.

The 27^th session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 10^th May 2023 with the theme of “Azerbaijan”.

The online program, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with presentation of Baku Commerce Principal Consultants Yakup Sefer and Murat Yaman, Gandzha Commercial Attache Kadir Gündoğdu and Nakhchivan Commercial Attache Lütfü Kop.

Including detailed information on service export in Azerbaijan in the presentations; main economic indicators pod Azerbaijan and foreign trade data, market potentials, investment incentives, Türkiye-Azerbaijan bilateral trade, opportunities and disadvantages in the export, trade agreements between two countries, service trade sectors, fairs in Azerbaijan subjects discussed.

After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

The 21^th session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 8^th March 2023 with the theme of “Italy”.

The online program, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with presentations of Roma Commercial Counsellor Selman Tokpunar, Milan Commercial Attaches Ahmet Erkan Çetinkayış and Ozan Murat Ergan.

Including detailed information on service export in Italy in the presentations, main economic indicators, Italy-Türkiye foreign trade data, mutual investments, sub-items of Italy service sector subjects discussed. After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

The board meeting of Services Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters’ Assembly was held on 13th February 2023. To the meeting that held under the presidency of HİB President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat; HİB Vice Presidents Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and Salih Zeki Çakır, HİB Treasurer Member Mehmet Erdoğan and the other board members attended.

At the meeting, discussing the sector problems and solution offers for the current issues and the plans for the recent period were made.
