Istanbul Aydın University September Board Meeting was held with the participation of particularly IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, IAU academicians and administrative staff.
At the meeting held just before the start of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, evaluations were made about the intense work period left behind. Discussing the activities done, new suggestions offered, plans for the next term done and ideas on strategies were exchanged.
Service Exporters’ Association September Board Meeting was held. In addition to HİB Board Members, T.R. Ministry of Trade International Service Trade General Director Tarık Sönmez attended the meeting. At the meeting, problems of sectors and solution offers were evaluated and ideas were exchanged about the activities to be done in this context.
Cyprus Science University Honorary President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited CSU. On the first day of his visit, visiting CU social facilities and the additional campus which will be opened in October, he evaluated the preparations.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, on the second day of his visit, held an evaluation meeting with CSU Board. At the meeting, current works evaluated and next term plans were made. Aydın, on the same day, visited TRNC Minister of Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova and Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu.
On the third day of his visit, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited T.R. Ambassador to Nicosia Metin Feyzioğlu. He hosted South Aegean Touristic Hoteliers and Operators Association President and Turkish Hoteliers Federation Board Member Bülent Bülbüloğlu at the CSU Campus. In addition, he met with CSU academic and administrative staff at a dinner meeting where they determined the strategy for the 2023-2024 academic year.
On the fourth day of his visit, hosting TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu at Cyprus Science University, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited TRNC President Ersin Tatar at his office. Then, he visited TRNC Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Council President Prof. Dr. Turgay Avcı.
On the last day of his visit, TRNC Minister of Public Works and Transport Prof. Dr. Erhan Arıklı visited CSU. At the same time, a breakfast organization was held with the participations of CSU President Dr. Selman Arslanbaş and CSU Rector Prof. Dr. Lale Ayşegül Büyükgönenç.

TEKNOFEST, which was held for the first time in 2018 and organized for the eighth time this year together with Ankara; was held under the leadership of the Türkiye Technology Team (T3) and T. R. Ministry of Technology and Industry, with the participation of 125 stakeholder institutions, including ministries, presidencies, public and private sector institutions, academic institutions and media companies, which a play critical role in Türkiye’s national technology ecosystem.
İstanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın participated in 3 days of TEKNOFEST. On the first day of TEKNOFEST, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) President Prof Hasan Mandal visited IAU stand.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, on the second day of TEKNOFEST, participated a dinner with IAU TEKNOFEST team, entrepreneurs and students. At the dinner, current technological developments were evaluated and ideas on the projects the academy can produce in the field of technology, were exchanged.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, on the third day of TEKNOFEST, met Council of Higher Education President Prof Erol Özvar and then T.R. Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu. Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber and Düzce University Rector Prof Nedim Sözbir also visited IAU stand.
BİL Educational Institutions President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Ankara branches of BİL Educational Institutions.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Pursaklar BİL College, Çankaya BİL College, Altındağ BİL Course, Altındağ BİL College, Batıkent BİL College, Eryaman BİL Course, Etimesgut BİL College and Yapracık Bil College in Ankara, met with administrators and teachers.
The 34th session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Türkiye Exporters Assembly, was held on 23th August 2023 with “Kuwait”.
The online program, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with the presentation of Kuwait Commercial Counsellor Zeynep Kömürcüoğlu and the participations of HIB Deputy General Secretary Abdullah Keskin.
Including detailed information on service export in Kuwait in the presentations, general situation in Kuwait and economic outlook, investment incentives, fairs and sub-items of service sector subjects discussed.
The 33rd session of conference series titled “HİB Interviews with Commercial Counsellors” coordinated online by Service Exporters’ Association operating under the umbrella of Türkiye Exporters Assembly, was held on 16th August 2023 with “Turkmenistan”.
The online program started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and continued with the presentation of Ashgabat Commercial Principal Consultants Ramazan Kısa and Ayhan Işık, Ashgabat Commercial Counsellor Meral Karaaslan and the participations of HİB General Secretary Dr. Fatih Özer and HIB members.
Including detailed information on service export in Turkmenistan in the presentations, general situation in Turkmenistan, main sectors, economic indicators, bilateral trade between Türkiye and Turkmenistan, logistic sector, projects in Turkmenistan, important fairs subjects discussed.
After the presentations, the questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.
Service Exporters’ Association August Board Meeting held under the presidency of HİB President Şekib Avdagiç and the participations of board members and HİB General Secretary.
Remarks and evaluations from sub-committees of the sector were analyzed. General evaluations were made about growing the service export and the activities.
The Urban Facility Management Association President Suat Sandalcı and his delegation visited Service Exporters’ Association on 15th August 2023. At the meeting under the chairmanship of Service Exporters’ Association Vice Presidents Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and Salih Zeki Çakır and Treasurer Mehmet Erdoğan, sustainable collaborations that a common vision will be shared was emphasized. In addition, ideas on relevant projects were exchanged.
Service Exporters’ Association Education Services Committee Meeting held on 14th August 2023 via Zoom. To the meeting under the Chairmanship of HİB Vice President and Education Services Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, HİB General Secretary and committee members attended.
2023 international events plan of HIB Education Services Committee and current problems and solution offers of the international student recruitment process were evaluated at the meeting.
