Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Roma La Sapienza University.
In the Roma La Sapienza University, established in 1300, placed at the top among world universities and raised seven Nobel laureate scientists, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın met with Rector, executives and Eastern European History Lecturer Prof Fabio L. Grassi. Prof. Aydın stated that during the meetings, there was a productive exchange of ideas on expanding the existing cooperation between the Sapienza University of Rome and IAU.
After the meetings, Aydın visited the campus and museums and shared her personal impressions with the university administrators.
The launch of works written by history researcher Dr. Rinaldo Marmara, titled “La Casa Della Vergine Maria” and “turkey-Vatican [Pontificate] Through Diplomatic Relations” which is a documented catalog from Vatican archives and published by Istanbul Aydın University; was held in Rome hosted by Gregorian University.
İstanbul Aydın University Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, Ambassador to Vatican Mr. Lütfullah Göktaş, S.E.R. Mons Lorenzo Piretto, Dean of Faculty of History and Cultural Heritage of the Church, Pontifical Gregorian University Prof Marek Inglot and P. Pio Murat also attended to the launch.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın said, “This book published by Istanbul Aydın University Press, contains important documents about the first years of Republic. Especially most of the documents about 19th and 20th century “Turkish history” are in Vatican archives in Italian and French. The purpose of our documented catalog prepared with the great effort of Dear Rinaldo Marmara, is to present the documents which have Turkish abstracts and references to the researchers via Istanbul Aydın University. I would like to thank again Dr. Rinaldo Marmara who is one of the few who can enter the hidden and private archives of Vatican and work in there for many years for creating this unique work and offering an insight into unknown pages of history. I would like to express my gratitude to him on behalf of our university, country and history which has many more unknown key points.”
A conversation titled “Let’s Create the Future Together” which organized by IAU Leaders Clup, was held at İstanbul Aydın University. National Team Athlete Derya Güneşli, TUCEM General Manager Bora Çelik, Aytaç Media Drama Manager Onur Ataç and Aydınlık Journal News Director Nadir Temellioğlu attended the summit.
Meeting with young leaders IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, listened their individual journey and gave them important advices. Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın attended the productive meeting, which took the form of mutual exchange of ideas with young people. It ended with the presentation of plaques by Aydın to the young leaders.
“10th November Ataturk Remembrance Event” was held in IAU. At the event, which held with active participation of students and academicians in Necdet Timur Auditorium; after the stand in silence and the turkish national anthem, IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Rector Prof Yadigar İzmirli made their opening speeches.
Then, under the conductorship of the teacher of IAU Faculty of Education Music Teaching PhD Erdal Şahin, music concert of choir that consisting of IAU Music Teaching Faculty students was held.
Afterwards, IAU Faculty of Science and Literature History Department Lecturer PhD Naim Babüroğlu made a comprehensive presentation about Ataturk.
The ceremony ended with presentation a plaque to Naim Babüroğlu by IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Rector Prof Yadigar İzmirli.
29th October Republic Day was celebrated at IAU. In the ceremony that performed at A Block Hasan Fehmi Büyükbayram Conference Hall; after the speeches of IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli, IAU USAM Manager Assistant Prof. Naim Babüroğlu made a speech titled “Atatürk and Cumhuriyet”.
IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın mentioned acquirements of our country with Republic in his speech and he said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the Great Leader Atatürk and all our heroes in the War of Independence.”
IAU USAM Manager Assistant Prof. Naim Babüroğlu mentioned historic process until establishment of the republic and struggle of Veteran Mustafa Kemal in this period.
Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Institute of Graduate Studies Graduation Ceremony was held in T Block Necdet Timur Auditorium. IAU Institute of Graduate Studies Manager Prof. Ragıp Kutay Karaca, IAU Rector Prof. Yadigar İzmirli and IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın made opening speeches in the ceremony that attended by students graduated from master and doctorate programs and their parents. Then, diplomas presented to first successful students of the faculty by IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and IAU Prof. Rector Yadigar İzmirli. At the end of the ceremony, traditional pinning the names on the Graduation Register and throwing caps ceremony were held.
İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; Trabzon Fen Lisesine ziyarette bulunarak, Lise Müdürü Coşkun Çolak ile görüştü. Görüşmede Trabzon Fen Lisesinin faaliyetleri ile ilgili bilgiler alan Aydın, okulu gezerek mevcut imkânlara yönelik incelemelerde de bulundu.
Trabzon Fen Lisesi Müdürü Coşkun Çolak’ın rehberliğinde yapılan okul gezisinin ardından misafirperverlikleri için teşekkürlerini ifade eden Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Trabzon’un eğitimdeki başarıları ile gurur duyduklarını da belirtti.
IAU PRESIDENT ASSOC. PROF. MUSTAFA AYDIN VISITED TRABZON SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL
Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited Trabzon Science High School and met with the Principal Coşkun Çolak. Receiving information about Trabzon High School Activities, Aydın toured the school and examined into current facilities.
Expressing his thanks for their hospitality after the school tour under the guidance of Trabzon Science High School Principal Coşkun Çolak, Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın also stated that they are proud of Trabzon’s achievements in education.
İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, Trabzon merkezde bulunan SBÜ Trabzon Kanuni Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine ziyarette bulundu. Hastane Başhekimi Prof. Dr. Süleyman Türedi ve Tıp Fakültesi Dekanı Doç. Dr. Hasan Rıza Aydın ile görüşerek hastane hakkında bilgiler alan Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; bir Trabzonlu olarak, şehir halkına verilen kaliteli sağlık hizmetinden dolayı hastane yönetimine teşekkürlerini sundu.
Ayrıca kampüsteki Kaşüstü Ana Bina ve Numune Ek Binaları olmak üzere iki ayrı hizmet binasını gezen Aydın, hastane ve tıp fakültesi ile ilgili bireysel değerlendirmelerini de yetkililerle paylaştı.
ASSOC. PROF. MUSTAFA AYDIN VISITED UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES TRABZON KANUNI TRAINING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL
IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın visited UHS Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital in the city center of Trabzon. Meeting with Hospital Head Doctor hospital Prof. Dr. Süleyman Türedi and Dean of Medical Faculty Assoc. Prof. Hasan Rıza Aydın and getting information about the hospital Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, as a Trabzon citizen, expressed his thanks to hospital administration for the quality medical service provided to townspeople.
Aydın also visited two service buildings in the campus, Kaşüstü Main Building and Numune Additional Building, and he shared his individual evaluations about hospital and medical faculty with the authorities.
Kocaeli Üniversitesi Eski Rektörü Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu, İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın’ı makamında ziyaret ederek İAÜ Kampüsünü gezdi.
İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Halit Aydın Kampüsünün fiziksel kapasite, teknik altyapı, sosyal çevre ve yeterlilik açısından son derece cazip olduğunu dile getiren Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu; gösterilen yakın ilgiden dolayı İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın ile üniversite yönetimine de teşekkürlerini sundu.
Yükseköğretim kalitesine ilişkin karşılıklı fikir alışverişi yapılan görüşmede, 360 derece eğitim anlayışına ilişkin verimli değerlendirmelerde bulunuldu.
PROF. SEZER ŞENER KOMSUOGLU VISITED THE ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY
Former Rector of Kocaeli University Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu visited Istanbul Aydın University President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın in his office and toured the IAU campus.
Mentioning that Istanbul Aydın University Halit Aydın Campus is very attractive in the ways of physical capacity, technical infrastructure, social environment and sufficiency, Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu expressed her thanks to IAU President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın and university administration due to devoting close attention.
At the meeting which ideas exchanged on the quality of higher education, fruitful evaluations were made about 360-degree education approach.
Avrasya Üniversiteler Birliği (Eurasian Universities Union-EURAS) üyesi olan Roma La Sapienza Üniversitesi ile İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi arasındaki iş birliği kapsamında, temsilcilik ofislerinin resmî açılışı gerçekleşti.
Sapienza’dan açılış için gelen Uluslararası İlişkilerden Sorumlu Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Bruno Botta, Proje Danışmanı Prof. Fabio Grassi, uluslararası ofis direktörü ve sorumlularından oluşan heyet İAÜ’de karşılandı. Açılışın ardından kampüsü gezen heyet üyeleri, İAÜ’nün yetkili isimleriyle karşılıklı fikir alışverişinde bulundu.
SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY OF ROME REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE OPENED IN IAU
Within the scope of the cooperation between Sapienza University of Rome and Istanbul Aydın University which are the members of Eurasian Universities Union-EURAS, representative office formal opening was held.
The delegation consisting of Deputy Rector for International Affairs Prof. Bruno Botta, Scientific Counsellor of the Desk Project Prof. Fabio Grassi, international affairs director and officers who came from Sapienza for the opening ceremony, welcomed at Istanbul Aydın University. After the opening ceremony, the members of delegation toured the campus and exchanged their ideas with the IAU authorized names.
