Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın hosted Hasan Shakir Majdi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Mustaqbal University, along with his delegation and university administrators at a dinner meeting.
Discussions focused on sustainable cooperation in higher education, the importance of educational mobilization, and fostering national awareness among future generations.
At the Difference Makers Academy, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin met with students with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.
The program featured discussions on a wide range of topics, including municipal governance, family structure, women’s role in society, cultural heritage, and digitalization.
The March meeting of the Aydın Thinking Platform was held with the participation of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin as a guest speaker.
Istanbul Governor Davut Gül also attended the meeting. Discussions covered urban governance, local development, social municipalism, and the role of women in society.
A Ramadan Holiday celebration was held at Istanbul Aydın University with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and the university’s academic and administrative staff.
The program emphasized that education is not only about knowledge transfer but also about shaping the future. It was underlined that efforts to train younger generations in the best possible way will continue with determatination.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın expressed his appreciation to all staff members and extended his wishes for many more celebrations in unity.
An iftar program was held at Istanbul Aydın University’s T Block Social Sciences Campus bringing together distinguished guests tos hare the spiritual atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan.
The event, attended by representatives from non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and various foreign consulates, reflected the spirit of unity, solidarity and togetherness that defines Ramadan, embodied through the shared iftar table.
Among the notable guests was İsmail Kahraman, former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (26th term) and Chairman of the Founders Board of The Unity Foundation, along with many other distinguished guests.
Led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Aydın University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, the Delightful Istanbul Program steadily carried out since 2014 was successfully held this year between 17–31 January 2026 with the participation of 110 international students from 21 countries.
Bringing together the city’s history, cultural heritage, and academic richness under one roof, the program continued to serve as a strong platform for international interaction, where young people from different regions developed a shared vision for the future through mutual understanding.
Expressing his gratitude to all academics and the dedicated university team who contributed to the success of the program, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın shared the following remarks;
