Gastronomy and Catering Services Sector Introductory Meeting was held with participation of Other Business Services Committee Vice President Kemal Yamankaradeniz under the presidency of Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın of Service Exporters’ Association that operating under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly.
At the meeting in which TOBB Services Sector Assembly President and İstanbul Catering Industrialists Association President Hüseyin Bozdağ also participated, sector representatives held consultations on Catering Services Sector. The online meeting under the guidance of HİB, ended with exchange of views and individual evaluations of the participants.
On October 19, 2022, the third session of the online conference series titled “HİB interviews with Commercial Counsellors,” that coordinated by Service Exporters’ Association, which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held with the theme of Pakistan.
Important information was provided at the online conference with presentations from Karachi Commercial Attaché Eyyup Yıldırım and Islamabad Commercial Counselor Nurettin Demir, moderated by HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın.
In the presentations, topics such as current economic structure, current situation of IT sector, tax incentives, Pakistan service export, sub-sectors in service export, investment opportunities, and main economic indicators were discussed. At the end of the webinar, the questions from representatives of participating firms were answered.
The second session of October of online conference series titled “HİB interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 12h October 2022 with the theme of Morocco.
The online conference, which started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, continued with the presentations of Rabat Commercial Counselor Mehmet Ali Oran and Casablanca Commercial Counselor Burcu Özergül Çolak.
In the presentations that involves detailed information on service export in Morocco, subjects such as general economic conditions, taxation procedures, logistic opportunities, trade agreements, import and export countries and foreign trade items, bilateral trade between Turkey and Morocco, investment advantages and risks, Moroccan service sectors, e-commerce and fairs were included. After the presentation, the questions from representatives of participating firms were answered.
The first session of October of online conference series titled “HİB interviews with Commercial Counsellors” that coordinated by Service Exporters’ Association which operates under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, was held on 5th October 2022 with the theme of Romania.
The online conference started with the opening speech of HİB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın. Then, Bucharest Commercial Counselors Sude Gürcan, Mehmet Naci Akdoğan and Constanta Commercial Attaché Aygün Eski shared their presentations about the topic involved current datas.
Important topics discussed in the presentations included Romania’s current economic situation and foreign trade, import-export items, bilateral trade between Romania and Turkey, service export between Romania and Turkey, the investment climate in Romania, the current state of service sectors, and Romania’s logistic situation.
The questions from representatives of participating companies were answered at the end of the webinar, which was beneficial in terms of transferring information, opinions, and visual content.

Çevrim içi yapılan toplantıda, Ağustos ayına ilişkin Genişletilmiş Eğitim Hizmetleri Toplantısının sonuçları değerlendirildi. Uluslararası öğrenci temininde yaşanan sorunlar ile çözüm önerilerinin de görüşüldüğü birleşimde; destek ve teşviklerin son durumları ile geçmiş kayıt dönemi üzerinde konuşuldu. Ayrıca yeni akademik takvime ilişkin olası planlamalar hakkında da fikir alışverişi yapıldı.
HIB SEPTEMBER ENLARGED EDUCATION SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING WAS HELD
Service Exporters’ Association that operated under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly organized the September Enlarged Education Services Committee Meeting.
In the online meeting, results of August Education Services Committee Meeting were evaluated, the problems and solutions on international students recruitment were discussed. They talked about the latest status of supports and incentives and previous enrollment term. In addition, ideas were exchanged on possible planning related to new academic calendar.

Sunumda; Bulgaristan’ın mevcut ekonomik durumu, Türkiye-Bulgaristan arası ikili ticaret durumu, Bulgaristan’ın dış ticaret durumu ve ithalat-ihracat ürünleri, potansiyel sektörler ve ürünler, yatırım fırsatları, yatırım destek ve teşvikleri, vergi uygulamaları gibi çeşitli konular üzerinde duruldu. Sunumun ardından ise toplantıya iştirak eden sektör temsilcilerinin soruları yanıtlandı.

After the opening speech of HİB Vice president Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, Sofia Commercial Counsellor Sinem Taştan and Filibe Commercial Attaché Armağan Al made a fruitful presentation concerning current commercial process.
In the presentation, several subjects such as current economic conditions of Bulgaria, bilateral trade situation between Türkiye-Bulgaria, foreign trade of Bulgaria, import-export products, potential sectors and products, investment opportunities, supports and incentives, tax applications were discussed. After the presentation, questions from representatives of participating companies were answered.

HİB Bşk. Yrd. ve Eğitim Komitesi Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın’ın da katılım gösterdiği çalıştayda; sektör temsilcilerinin ihracat stratejileri üzerine verimli fikir alışverişleri gerçekleştirildi ve hizmet sektörlerinin Türkiye ekonomisindeki rolü üzerinde duruldu.
“INTERSECTORAL SYNERGY AND COLLABORATION WORKSHOP” WAS HELD BY SERVICE EXPORTERS ASSEMBLY
Service Exporters’ Assembly operating under the umbrella of Turkish Exporters Assembly, organized “Intersectoral Synergy and Collaboration Workshop” on the purpose of sharing intersectoral knowledge and experience by bringing together the service sectors and carrying out common works by creating cooperation and synergy between the sectors.
T.R. Minister of Commerce Mehmet Muş, T.R. Minister of Tourism and Culture Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, T.R. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, Deputy Minister of Commerce Rıza Tuna Turagay, Governor of Sakarya Çetin Oktay, TİM President Mustafa Gültepe, HİB President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, the Ministry of Commerce General Manager Dr. Emre Orhan Öztelli, bureaucrats of the Ministry of Commerce, HİB Committees Presidents, the leaders and representatives of service sector attended the workshop which lasted for 3 days in Sapanca.
At the workshop that HİB Vice President and Education Committee President Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın also attended, fruitful opinions about export strategies of sector representatives were exchanged and the role of the service sectors in the Turkish economy was dwelled on.
